How about living in rural Thailand for over 20 years in Kamphaeng Phet province in a small Thai Moo Ban. Not a policeman but you are claiming without backing up. The advantage of telling the truth every time is that you only have to remember the truth. The disadvantage in telling lies, is that you have to remember which lie you told to whom and when you told it, and you can't afford to change that lie because there are always people who will quote your previous lie at you.
