If a family live in military housing, when the one in the military ( could be either ) is deployed they lose the house they were living in, as they get another one on the new base. Are you suggesting that only one deploys and the other stays behind for years and years, and that they be provided with 2 different accommodations, one in each location? If they did that you'd be complaining that the military was wasting money on too much accommodation.

I wish that I didn't know that either Beck or Hendricks existed. Useless information only clogs my brain, and knowing about Hendicks must have prevented much useful info residing in my brain. Beck is reasonably easy to ignore as his band was never that popular, while I had the misfortune to be assailed by Hendricks constantly on the radio till such time as he departed on his last tour across the great divide. I never did, nor do I know now, why Hendricks was so popular, other than everyone was a pot head.

It's not possible to win a war simply by bombing, unless you support nuking the entire country, and every country on the planet would be somewhat upset if the US did that to Iran. I treated it as a BS statement and responded in kind. To prove your allegation you'd have to find every scientist on the planet and ask them if they deny climate change, and then if they did if they were paid to do so by a fossil fuel company. That might prove somewhat difficult. That's the problem with throwing words like 100% out there and expecting everyone to believe it. The only reason I found out was because I had difficulty peeing and the GP had one done. I never had a routine one done. As it was on the low end I didn't have the op for a few years and thank goodness I waited as life has been <deleted> since. Anyway, I think you did the right thing by having the surgery and it seems that you know that. As you said, you wouldn't be here now if you didn't. Had I known what it would be like I would not have had the op. The op follow up was a mess, and the hospital stay was a disaster, due to incompetent nursing staff ( sometimes not knowing is an advantage ), and I had to have a follow up op to sort it out. The only thing I got right was not having radiation after, though they wanted me to have it. Post op I was off work for 5 months, and it took months to get back to normal hours. I'm still not fully recovered. Since I had mine done, the procedures have improved dramatically. I was unusually young to need the op, so I was just really unlucky in the timing.
