  1. For that post alone I want Trump to win.
  2. IMO weapons are a necessity for an insurrection. The protesters were not armed and the only weapon discharged was the one that killed a protestor.
  3. It was a freelancer bar that served food. A girl free venue is not what he wanted.
  4. IMO it was too dark to see the girls properly, and when I went there it was to have a table by the water to eat at.
  5. That's wrong, and nothing to do with it. Zero to do with a reducing rate. I did live outside NZ too long to get the pension in a country without a bilateral pension agreement, as I have to have 5 years full time in NZ after 50, and I didn't, which I didn't realise. I think Australia has a similar residential requirement. I can live in the UK with the pension as there is a bilateral pension agreement, but why would I want to live in the UK as a pensioner? After 5 years I can get the pension in LOS, but at a lower rate than here. Unfortunately my health isn't good enough to do so. NZ doesn't have any sort of contributary pension. Once 65 or whatever the age is now, one gets the full pension in NZ, even if one never paid any tax.
  6. Perhaps I should explain why life in LOS would be better for me to give some context. Don't need a car which is very expensive to buy, maintain, insure and make legal. It's always warm to hot Doctors don't cost the earth to see for 10 minutes. The health service isn't broken. Medication is available without a prescription, Accommodation is cheap Movies are cheap DVDs are cheap Restaurants are cheap ( as long as not a nob ) Food is cheap Girls are actually pretty, and not land whales. Travel by bus or train in LOS is cheap One can stay on a beach without being a millionaire. Street life is entertaining. Many other positives about LOS.
  7. I'd be lovin it as it would mean I'd be living in LOS which would improve my life 1000%.
  8. Of course it's about money. I don't know what universe you live in but try living on air and you won't last long. IMO only someone with loads of money has an opinion like that. It's just as well I don't have kids or a wife to support, as I can barely support myself.
  9. Rubbish. I could have a 1000% better life in LOS if I got the pension there. Life in home country on a pension alone sucks. If I didn't have savings my life would be <deleted>. Unfortunately I am ineligible for the pension in LOS, or I'd be there.
  10. I doubt you can find any western woman that doesn't think her "presence" wasn't worth a lot when it comes to the divorce. It's only non transactional as long as the payoff is yet to come.
  11. I gave till I had no more to give, and walked away with nothing but a resolution to never get romantically involved with another western woman. I kept that for many years to my benefit, but made the mistake of thinking a Thai woman would be different. Was I ever wrong!!!!! Personally, I'd rather never have had any woman other than a P4P, as they always provide a happy ending and don't take your house for it. Wooing with flowers and gifts is IMO for suckers. In the end, women are not "special" and don't deserve the biased treatment they get from the law.
  12. Seems some are very selective on which UN resolutions to support and which to ignore.
  13. and what would those "measures" be? A strongly worded letter to Kim perhaps, or a complaint to the UN security council ( the one that is as effective as a wet paper bag ). Maybe it'll be balloons with some dog doodoo. We'll just have to wait and see, as I doubt Kim gives a monkey's about what South Korean leaders have to say.
  14. Not surprising as if they do go and get experience in an actual war, the survivors will be able to train the rest to be a far more formidable force against the South Koreans. Perhaps the South Koreans should send their own troops to fight for the Americans in Ukraine.
  15. Hmmmmm, seems Rutte considers them to be a significant threat, and much more than a parade ground theatre group, which is about all they seemed to be for many years now. Whatever, Rutte is in no way able to cast stones seeing as NATO countries have been significantly escalating the conflict for 2 years. Hypocrisy comes to mind.
  16. I never lived in Europe to comment about it, but IMO for sure the UK is gone. It's just a matter of watching it rotate slowly into insignificance. Hard to understand how that nation could rule half the world- the Empire on which the sun never set.
  17. and the combat you participated in to comment was in..............? It's not like there were not any during your young adulthood.
  18. No reform will succeed as long as the NHS is top heavy with bureaucrats and managers. Many are dead wood and need to be fired. The NHS also has to get back to basics and stop doing such things as transplants. Transplants consume vast amounts of money and time and benefit few, Hundreds of simpler operations could be done for the cost of one heart transplant. Transplants should be done in the private sector. The only exceptions should be such as kidney transplants and corneas, which help people get off needing expensive dialysis and give sight back. In such cases the benefits outweigh the cost. The NHS should be about saving lives put at risk by accident and treating disease, not building consultant empires.
  19. Their fear is growing by the day as the V day comes nearer, and Harris is unable to put light between them. The continued wars in two places are doing nothing to make her more popular either. She didn't start them, but she's as tainted by them as much as Biden is. The Gaza conflict is going to make many young voters stay home, rather than vote for someone colluding in war crimes and crimes against humanity.
  20. Nothing to say about calling millions of Trump voters "deplorable", apparently. When one wants to use the media to push a bias, one needs to be prepared to justify it beyond just not liking the target.
  21. That's a super intelligent post. You should get a job in media. You'd be a star, nay, a superstar with your witty contributions.
  22. and what are the chances of finding that one in a million woman that will still be loving unconditionally in 20 years time? A relationship should always start, and end up, with one doing what they can for the other, with no expectations in return I give the chances of finding anyone that will do "what they can for the other, with no expectations in return" virtually no chance whatesoever. The vast majority want something in return, despite what they may say. Mother Teresa is the only example of someone like that that I know of.
  23. Perhaps, but they ain't sexually attractive and probably don't want sex. If one wants a faithful companion that loves one unconditionally get a dog. That is not indicating get a dog for sex BTW. I'm saying a dog will be as good a companion as a 60+ woman, and without the complaining.
  24. +1 As much chance of finding real, genuine love as winning Lotto. Some win Lotto, and some find true love, but not many.
  25. The only equivalent I found was the big place over the water in Pattaya. Out behind the bar collection first place past the sewage plant at the entrance to Walking Street. Forget the name. Never found anywhere else similar in Bkk.
