  1. Not as many millionaires as women. They probably make no difference in the vote per se.
  2. She probably does, which in a normal world would mean that young people would not have the vote as being too stupid to do so.
  3. I saw that on this forum yesterday, so no idea what you are on about, and her winning the debate is just . At best it was IMO a draw. Neither drew blood ( virtually ).
  4. Given Putin's inability to conquer the eastern part of Ukraine, I fail to understand how anyone can believe the western propaganda that Russia is even capable of taking over Europe.
  5. He was a zionist as the evidence shows. https://www.aei.org/articles/was-churchill-a-zionist/ Churchill was the ardent friend of leading Jews in Britain and a supporter of Zionism, expressing as early as 1908 his sympathy for a “restoration” of a Jewish homeland in Palestine, and successfully opposing an Aliens Bill brought to the House of Commons in 1904 that would have sharply restricted Jewish immigration into Britain. Later, as colonial secretary in the 1920s, Churchill took steps that enabled 300,000 Jews to emigrate to Palestine over the next decade, providing the nucleus for the future nation of Israel.
  6. If she has policies, it's a pity she didn't say what they are on the debate. All I heard was a load of promises unlikely to even reach congress. Unless she has both houses it's unlikely her wish list will come true.
  7. That was the one you dreamed. The real one was rather different. IMO Harris doesn't know what "positive" means.
  8. He said it was his best ever, not that it was a great debate. Going by his past debates it is a low bar. Next.
  9. Indeed. When she has done nothing much for 3 1/2 years it's a bit much expecting us to believe she will be a different person if elected
  10. In that case there would be no one in Congress, IMO.
  11. They'll vote for Trump because the opponent is so bad.
  12. Had Biden not done the debate they'd still be saying he was as great as a spritely 60 year old. Selective memories at play here. A lot of hypocrisy as well, IMO.
  13. Your history books are obviously different to mine.
  14. LOL. https://edition.cnn.com/2021/11/14/investing/elon-musk-wealth-taxpayer-support/index.html Without taxpayer support, however, neither Tesla nor SpaceX would have survived this long, and investors never would have had the chance to make massive bets on both companies.
  15. Risky, only by the same criteria as sitting on a giant bomb as it leaves the surface. So many spacewalks have been done already that it's hardly a greater risk. IMO it's all to drum up a bit of support for an expensive venture that has all been done before. Bit like watching the trapeze artist in a circus.
  16. Stalin trusted Hitler and look at how that turned out. Hitler deserved to have been captured alive and paraded around the world as an exhibit of pure evil, IMO.
  17. If there is anything left to vote for in 5 years time. Had the Tories not been just as bad , Starmer would still be languishing in opposition. I blame Sunak.
  18. Churchill saved us all from Nazi rule over the British Empire, so I thank him. Otherwise he did many really bad things in his life, IMO, and some really bad things during the war eg the Crete campaign, though he may have done them for the right reasons. It's noteworthy that after the war ended the people didn't want him as PM any more. https://www.iwm.org.uk/history/how-did-churchill-lose-the-1945-general-election.
  19. In your dreams.
  20. You posted that 1 minute ago, but it was over an hour and a half ago. Perhaps you didn't watch it live.
  21. It avoids the usual chorus of "needs a link", so yes, my opinion.
  22. IMO opinion it was as "contentious" as watching a cat sleeping. Boring more like. It was so gripping I didn't even bother watching and did something more useful, while just listening to it, just in case something did happen. Conversely, during the Biden debate I was virtually glued to the TV.
  23. Expect nothing less from the BBC which is IMO biased when it comes to Trump, and IMO the above is wishful thinking, but certainly not true, IMO, as regards to putting him on the defensive, or favouring her. My opinion on the debate, a draw. Trump stayed relatively sane, and Harris had nothing new to say. I doubt a single voter will change their mind on that one. It was more like a boxing match during which neither boxer managed to get a good punch in, and ended in a draw. I've said it before, but IMO the debates are a waste of time ( normally, though we probably watch them in hope of a Biden type crash and burn ), and we learn little if anything we don't already know. However, the advertisers will have minted it.
  24. You beat me to it.
