  1. I'm not confused. I listened to the debate start to finish and while it was somewhat petty squabbling over talking points without coming up with much at all, a train wreck it was not. I despise Harris, but even I thought she did OK. IMO it was a draw because neither managed a real body blow, no surprises, heard it all before. Trump said Trump things, and Harris spoke in generalities. The only things she seemed to be strong on was killing the unborn and giving some people's money to other people.
  2. I've always said on here that I like Trump's policies, but other than finding him entertaining, I'm not a fan. However, when it's obvious that one or the other will be POTUS come January, one has to go with the less bad of two less than satisfactory candidates. Trump is deeply flawed, but compared to her he is superman come to save us from the villains out to destroy the world.
  3. Are you telling us that you respect Rove's opinions? I don't, and long before this.
  4. Is that the best you can do?
  5. Not with me. He was a somewhat despicable person, but I'll be eternally grateful to him for saving the world from the Nazis. If I were to meet him by some deviation in time, I might shake his hand in gratitude, but I'd never invite him to my home. I'll let an Irish patriot say it as she says it better than I could. https://winstonchurchill.hillsdale.edu/irish-rapscallions/ I am an Irish patriot. Yet if you want to know what I think about all that, I think: “So what?”….I know what Churchill did besides being insulting about Muslims and the rest of us. If I put him in the scales of virtue against the German and Japanese war machines, Churchill wins, always, and in such an overwhelming way that I must forgive his earlier sins.
  6. At those numbers yes, but when one side kills up to 40 million through a policy of extermination behind the front lines ( plus a few million in it's own land and in pacified countries ) and the other kills a million or so in an active war, It's hardly a similarity. Britain did not bomb Dresden after the Germans surrendered.
  7. That's still deflecting but I accept you are not going to give me a straight answer on that. Had the allies not helped The Soviets the death toll would have far exceeded the actual number as Hitler apparently considered Slavs subhuman, and we know what happens in situations like that.
  8. I was unlucky twice. I took that as a sign and have not tried again. I did have a lucky call once though.I was quite smitten with another man's wife, and when they got divorced I might have been in like Flynn, but I was working overseas and she found another guy. I continued to be friends ( platonically ) for many years, but eventually realised that she had never been a marriage prospect. Getting married would have been the end of our friendship. I don't see her anymore as she found number 3 and moved away. Seems women never have a problem finding another man to jump into bed with.
  9. Pretty much like WW2 when Russia moved it's factories too far for Germany to destroy and produced enough to destroy the best army on the planet ( with assistance from the allies of course, except this time it's China, and Nth Korea, and Iran. Ignorant men that refuse to learn from history are doomed to repeat it.
  10. you really need to see someone about your anger management problems as you seem to have no self control. As for not talking to you, I'll be delighted not to waste my time on someone that can't accept that other people can have a different opinion to yourself. It's like you think that your opinion is the only acceptable one. So, off to the ignore list with you.
  11. Deflection. It's not true, is it?
  12. Not started by Trump.
  13. So it's not true then.
  14. So it's not true then.
  15. Perhaps the moon men are waiting for a bit of protein to go with their cheese.
  16. Isn't that the way they did it the first time around? There likely isn't enough room for an airlock and to do so would require a lot larger craft, something like a shuttle. Perhaps they should be building something like that instead of starting from zero.
  17. You think no wars is bad for the planet. Gee wizz, I'd never have known wars were good if you hadn't told me.
  18. I could say something similar about people that admire Harris.
  19. If the mission to Mars succeeds in removing Musk from Earth permanently IMO it will be worth every cent. How much profit does he get off his stupid cars anyway? Obviously too much.
  20. Everything she said about uniting the country and being positive. She had 3 1/2 years of example as to why that won't happen. She, IMO, will be the same as Biden, just a younger bag of wind.
  21. I doubt they care. They know they have another 4 years at the taxpayer trough.
  22. You asked something impossible to answer the way the apologists for Starmer would like it answered. Well done. 🏆
  23. I agree it's drivel. They presumably have ID such as a birth certificate, and are they incapable of submitting a photo in their new persona? The election isn't soon, so they have time to comply with whatever the requirements are.
  24. You deflect. It'd not the moderator's job to take sides. I don't live in Springfield so how would I know? No doubt some illegals come from countries that have dogs on the menu, so it may be true.
  25. Rather less than the number the Germans killed in The Soviet Union, and I am not familiar with how many Chinese the Japanese killed, but I suspect it was in the millions.
