  1. It's official from the UN, israeli IS committing genocide in Gaza. It's going to be hard for the colluder in chief, Biden, to continue to support israel now, though I expect he will. IMO he's in it all the way, complicit in war crimes, and the enabler of it, but IMO he will eventually be dragged, protesting, to forcing israel to end it's atrocity. I'm guessing when he finally recognises he is going to lose the election over it. https://news.un.org/en/story/2024/03/1147976 Rights expert finds ‘reasonable grounds’ genocide is being committed in Gaza
  2. Won't affect me as I refused to have one of those. I don't think I could go through another lockdown BS, so I might just deliberately get infected and shuffle off. I've had my best days and nothing to look forward to anyway. There aren't any guarantees though. I had covid and it wasn't worse than a mild cold.
  3. It's not the people unable to cope with lockdowns, it's the businesses destroyed and the economic ruin as a consequence that is the problem. I suppose you were all right Jack, and didn't care about the effects it had on the economy? Dogs and mangers comes to mind.
  4. Carville may be correct, but that's not going to stop him being consigned to woke "hell". Men need to know their place in this brave new world of ours. Sarcasm alert for the humour challenged.
  5. LOL. That's not a very appropriate comparison, as you apparently forget that the photo is repaired and posted again at the end of the movie, ergo, Luke really was cool, just as Trump, despite the negativity from his opponents, really is a winner.
  6. Soooooo, let me get this straight. They are themselves going to use an "infamous tactic". Do they not realise just how ridiculous that makes them look? Is the Biden campaign so bereft of positives that they have to dive into the gutter? I guess he hasn't got much positive to crow about though.
  7. IMO any false accusation of rape should receive a sentence of the same length as the men would have received, had they been convicted. It's because of maniacs like her that I will never be alone with a stranger woman now. No telling if they are nutters like the OP one.
  8. Trump wins, the enemy lose. Good result IMO. Now lets commence the real game, in which Trump tries to delay any verdict till post election. I have the popcorn ready.
  9. Given foreign mercenaries are likely still fighting, it's a relevant subject, IMO. Perhaps he would rather discuss how it's stalemate and Ukraine is losing.
  10. LOL. What "daily events" are you referring to? So few posts on here about it that one wonders if it has ended already. Far as I can ascertain, since the Russians straightened out the front line they are digging in to repel any further Ukrainian "counter assaults" like the last fizzer. Stalemate, and time is on Russia's side. Ukraine is out of men, ammunition and western concern. It hasn't even been on local news for many months. Hardly any posters on AN are posting about it. It's become the forgotten war.
  11. Indeed, Ships are just big targets, tanks ineffective against modern missiles, aircraft likewise. Perhaps we'll be back to WW1 frontal assaults and using horses to pull guns. IMO there will be a massive push for autonomous fighting machines after this conflict is analyzed. Welcome to Skynet, LOL.
  12. but never a condemnation from Britain of israel massacring thousands of children. I guess that might be a bit difficult when Britain has been colluding in it.
  13. Which is why Hamas will likely refuse. They must know that any resolution without a permanent ceasefire, but with release of all hostages will only result in a far worse massacre once the hostages are released, and there is nothing to restrain the IDF. I could be wrong, but till they agree or don't, that is my opinion. I suppose they were unable to include a permanent ceasefire because the US ( the land of the free, LOL ) would have vetoed it. One wonders just how many dead children it will take for the US to do the right thing" I'm guessing, but when polling suggests Biden is in for a hiding in November if he doesn't stop israel would be likely.
  14. The US will do whatever it wants, as who is going to stop them?
  15. IMO blowing up a building with many women and children in it has no reason other than revenge ( unless we consider a much darker objective ). Starving over 2 million people, destroying their hospitals and schools and shooting them while attempting to get food is as vile as it gets, and IMO the IDF and by association israelis will be tarnished by this atrocity for a very long time to come. Even if western governments try to excuse it after it's all over, Arabs will not forget what the Crusaders invaders are doing.
  16. I see that you think Putin's game is all of Ukraine, but IMO that was never the plan. Ukraine is huge and Russia could never control all of it. No, he just wants the east and Crimea, where he has a supportive population and a defensible border. That has been my opinion since day one of the invasion. Putin hasn't lasted this long by being stupid, and IMO he's not going to start now.
  17. I have suspected as much given the lack of cheering for them breaking through in the much vaunted Ukrainian "counter offensive", which turned out to be not much at all. One suspects that giving the Russians all winter to reinforce their defensive lines and trumpeting the offensive endlessly, thereby removing any surprise, it was a "disappointment" waiting to happen. One wonders how many Ukrainians that managed to escape conscription by moving to places like Thailand are volunteering to swap sunny Thailand for a cold trench in the Ukrainian front line.
  18. You must be an optimist. IMO it's almost time for the fat lady to start singing.
  19. I somewhat disagree that it was a betrayal. I was against supporting Ukraine from the first, being of the opinion that Russia would win anyway. Seems I'm almost at the stage of saying "I told you so". IMO it's more a realisation that no amount of taxpayer money they throw away in Ukraine is going to win anything, and the money would have been better spent giving nurses and ambulance drivers in the UK a pay rise. I also think that all Russia had to do was wait till the west used up all their spare missiles and shells, which seems to be where we are. It's not like the west moved onto a war footing to manufacture more. I suppose we should be grateful that the maniacs were not able to send western boys to die on the Ukrainian front line. There were a few posts from some western guy volunteered to go join the Ukrainian foreign volunteers way back near the start. I wonder if he's still thinking it was worth while, or if he's even thinking any more. Anyway, the action on here seems to have moved on, given hardly anyone posts on this sub forum now, or claims that the "orcs" are going to be defeated, for sure for sure.
  20. You could consider it from the point of view that by killing so many it allows the ones left alive to eat a bit more, considering the israelis are only allowing a bare minimum amount of food in and Gazans are starving. Israelis are so considerate in that way.
  21. I wonder how many dead children the poster you quoted would consider excessive?
  22. I'd have asked him if it's OK to destroy an entire building full of women and children to kill one Hamas in the building. I presume that is why they drop very large bombs on a building full of innocent children, destroying the entire building and burying many of the children under the rubble where they can't be rescued because israelis won't allow enough fuel in to move the diggers.
  23. Given the chaos in NZ that forced the IMO wannabe dictators in Wellington to end the restrictions, it'll be a brave government that tries that BS again. Fool me once that's on you, fool me twice that's on me. Well they fooled us once......................................
