I think that had I lived in the 1930s Europe, I would have read similar items in the newspapers of a certain country back then. BTW, the death toll is already 14,000 civilians, not counting those under the rubble of their homes, and once israel resumes bombing in 4 days it will get higher, so how many deaths qualify as "that high", 100,000 or 1,000,000, or how about 2.3 million? It's somewhat ironic that certain posters that were so outraged by Russian conduct in Ukraine are now defending the same sort of thing by israel.

Are you pleased about the over 5,000 Palestinian children that have been bombed to death as well? I guess that some might think that as they would just grow up to be Hamas supporters it's OK to kill them before they grew up. After all, according to some israeli officials, apparently all Palestinians in Gaza deserve to be killed. Now where in history have I read about officials saying things like that.............? https://www.commondreams.org/news/israel-gaza-genocide Israeli MP Says It Clearly for World to Hear: 'Erase All of Gaza From the Face of the Earth' https://www.dailysabah.com/world/mid-east/israeli-lawmakers-kill-all-palestinians-remarks-resurface Controversial statements by a former Israeli minister who called for the death of all Palestinians was remembered on social media and came under fire again.

I see the poster you quoted is resorting to the usual baiting by calling anyone that does not support bombing thousands of innocent children to death a Hamas supporter. If it wasn't about such a tragic situation it'd be pathetic. It's that sort of baiting that has made me put so many of them on ignore. At least I don't see their vile insults unless someone quotes them

and it'll be hello jail for that <deleted> once he's no longer PM. Israel is going to go the same way as apartheid South Africa IMO. They are so arrogant that they think they can just keep bombing thousands of children to bits and the US will cover for them forever. Even Biden has had enough of it and made noises about the 2 state solution, and no israeli occupation of Gaza after ( assuming there are any Palestinians left alive in Gaza after the winter ).

Absolutely not. They are not to be trusted. They already broke the terms of the agreement, which was why the last captives were not released for some hours. Apparently wouldn't allow aid into the north and shot someone walking along a road. Just as well the US isn't guaranteeing the agreement, or it'd be cancelled already. Vile scum to shoot unarmed people. https://www.pbs.org/newshour/world/israeli-troops-fire-at-palestinians-attempting-to-return-to-northern-gaza-during-cease-fire DEIR AL-BALAH, Gaza Strip (AP) — Israeli troops fatally shot two Palestinians and wounded 11 others

Thai women are very clever at making silly farangs think they understand the rubbish they are spouting at the unfortunate women. I used to listen in to the farangs one sided conversations in bars and wonder how the girls knew about the subjects they were holding forth on, till I wised up that they were pretending.

Biden calls for protection of al-Shifa hospital

I just listened to an interview with a Palestinian woman that spent 7 years in jail for driving too close to an israeli soldier ( she didn't hit him or anything like that ). Released today. If the israelis don't know why they ain't popular in large parts of the world, they should think about how they behave towards Palestinians. -
Trump widens lead over Biden to 4 points in national survey

One wonders if Biden still has enough self awareness to understand that cancelling the wall was not a good idea, but one thinks he doesn't. Wasn't Harris supposed to fix the problem? What happened to that? -

Not just the UK welfare system. Seems to be a persistent disease of the socialist ( small s ) western countries. -

He upset the snowflakes, so indeed not a total disaster. Actually Trump did a lot of good things, but the MSM that hates him will never allow it to be widely acknowledged. If nothing else, for 4 years US boys didn't get sent to die in yet another American war as Trump DIDN'T START ANY WARS. For that he should be thanked by everyone that didn't die in that time. Unfortunately, Biden sending not one, but 2 carrier strike groups is looking like it may lead to some unpleasant action sometime in the not too distant future, as Iran isn't bending over for Biden. After all, what is the point of all that expensive hardware if it's not used to go kill a lot of people? -

Geert Wilders' victory in Netherlands election spooks Europe

and I've been saying for some time now that a decreasing population is a good thing, given the destruction visited on the planet by western lifestyles using up all the resources, while poor countries rot. People are no longer needed en mass, given many functions can be given to AI robotics, and the millions of unemployed can be trained to work as carers for the elderly ( unless androids take over that as well ). The entire "need more people" nonsense is IMO a scam by the 1% that need a large population to exploit. -
Geert Wilders' victory in Netherlands election spooks Europe

Had they kept it an economic union, rather than a political union likely it would still be functioning as intended. As one from the Antipodes one is somewhat satisfied at the disruption caused to Britain by it's exit from that <deleted> union, given the economic disaster visited on one's country when Britain stabbed us in the back to join the EEC. Some wounds never heal. -

IMO, gained while living in the UK, is that the government ( both parties ) are unable or unwilling to make the unemployed British go to work, and prefer to import those that are willing to get off their <deleted> and want to work. While some even spend money for criminals to bring them to Britain's shores from far far away, apparently many in the north of England prefer to stay home on the dole. -
Seems the Ukraine war has indeed "paused" for AN contributers, given the lack of posts recently. Perhaps that is just a reflection of the world attention being diverted to Gaza, or that not much is actually going on in that conflict.

Israel-Hamas truce will begin Friday morning: Qatar

Apparently going as planned, so far. Captives and prisoners released, aid and fuel going into Gaza, combat stopped. -
Biden calls for protection of al-Shifa hospital
thaibeachlovers replied to CharlieH's topic in The War in Israel
I watched his speech about the captive swap for prisoners a short while ago. He appears to have lost the ability to think on his feet given the difficulty he had in answering questions. Apparently ( it was hard to hear what he said given his mumbling ) he wasn't able to give any information about the Americans still in captivity by Hamas. I wonder if he really thinks he was responsible for the releases, given that it was negotiated by Qatar and Egypt. IMO all Biden did was go along with anything the israelis want. One wonders if israel is the one dictating the plan ( if there is one other than killing as many Gazans as possible ), and Biden is just parroting his masters voice. The speech was just waffle and seemed to have nothing to do with reality. He still talks about a two state system, which is a nonsense, as there is nothing left for a Palestinian state, and wobbled on about israelis and Palestinians living in peace side by side, which becomes less likely with every bombing that blows innocent Gazans to bits. Pity Biden didn't do something about a two state system when Obama was POTUS, as it's obviously too late now, after so many years of illegal settlements and land theft by the israelis. -

I lived in LOS and was never bored. I live in the west and would be bored most of the time if I didn't have internet. Also, the west sucks biggly- too many regulations, too many horrible people, haven't seen a feminine woman since I returned, and forget anything resembling nightlife.

I have no idea of the point you were making in that post. Perhaps you have been drinking too much israeli propaganda cool aid the last week.
