The label on the seat belts at the bottom mount shows a manufactured date as does the code number on the glass manufacturer's detail on each window.

These would be the date each item is produced. Probably fitted to the vehicle much, much later.

Type O visa extension funds in bank 2 months printout must show every transaction? I feel I failed and should have just put the funds in savings or a different account, but nope.

The bank has hundreds of transactions and the online statement shows many people's names. Lots of bars, clubs, weed shops, and friends' names.

I'm 100% legal but I really don't want to share all this information with anyone.

Can I ask the bank for a printout without names and places? Can I give a partial printout of the date of deposit and the balance to date? Any info is appreciated.

"Can I ask the bank for a printout without names and places?"  Here's a silly idea, but it just might work. Ask the bank !

A TM-30 IS REQUIRED for a foreigner staying in Thailand.

Also reguired, a NEW TM-30 within 24 hours, when you MOVE residence / where you are staying, from point A to point B.

TM-30 and 90 day reports are a fact of life here.

Depending if you OWN or RENT the condo, you can get a "HOUSE BOOK" either Blue or Yellow which IS proof of residence - the LOCAL amphor can give you the information THEY require. A house book is proof of residence.

I am married now, and  had a Yellow house book ( she filed TM-30 ) over a year BEFORE we were married. We were living in her condo.

In Thailand, up to date paperwork is VERY important and opens many doors.

Maybe in a few overzealous IO's, but certainly not all.

I agree, seems all the foreigners are pussies these days. Or they turn into pussies fast after arriving in Thailand. Where are all the hard cases these days? I grew up in England, Scotland and Australia. Back in the 1960s you had to be very careful, there were all these hard cases about who could put the heid on you and bust your face open, then kick the living daylights out of you. I've seen men fighting in outback Aussie pubs that were battering each other faces with bare fists until they were swollen and bruised but they kept on hammering into each other.

Then stopped, shook hands & bought eachother a beer.. or 3. I've worked in a few of those pubs. Rodeo weekend in Mt Isa back in the 70's was much better than any WWE or UFC.

    OK.

When you are right...you are right....and....I am wrong.

Therefore, thank you for your clarification.

I will continue to buy Haiter, based on your information.

STILL....I think it is too expensive.  WHY?  I think that most people here do not understand that this product should be very cheap, based on cost of production, packaging, shipping, and distribution.

I will not return home, even if I had another home outside Thailand to return to, just because Makro is beyond my means when purchased at more expensive stores.  Instead, I will take your advice and purchase it at Makro.  And, why don't they give us a discount by packaging this product in 4 liter (litre) jugs?  Can you answer me this?

    FFS !

Since you need your passport anyway, if you are staying at a hotel and overstayers are unlikely to travel by air, this is a solution looking for a problem.

Why do you need a passport when checking into a hotel. In the past 12 months alone i've checked into different hotels in Bangkok, reasonably upmarket, Udon Thani & Khon Kaen. Not once have I been asked for my passport. Drivers license is always sufficient. Maybe it's the appearance & attitude of those who get asked to show passport. Just a thought.
