Australia has no alps.  Prices are eyewateringly high in Australia...as you will find out.

But it online here in Thailand on shopee or lazada....literally thousands to chose from.  Camping is very fashionalble now in Asia.

The season of your visit is also important.  If you are visiting the southern highlands.  Very cold in the winter buy very hot in the summer.

By the way.  Hiking in Tasmania will be a lot more rewarding for you.

I'm glad I don't rely on you for weather & geography info.

What is an interesting fact about the Australian Alps?

The alps are also home to unique cold climate adapted plants and animals—from alpine daisies to snow gums, and from mountain pygmy possums to migratory Bogong moths. Due to their high peaks and seasonal snow, the Australian Alps strongly influence the hydrology of eastern Australia.

You and others have just highjacked the thread so you can talk about yourselves. If you'd read the ops numerous threads you'd see he isn't clinically depressed as you lot describe

I dont spend all my time reading every post, apparently you do. I was trying to offer something positive. I don't intend playing keyboard pingpong, so, it's goodnight from me.

Good luck with either of those...they are REALLY slow to respond, if ever.

Best just check the Aus government website for requirements.

    or here....... https://www.thaiembassy.com/australian-visa/australian-tourist-visa

Appears that as long as passport is current for entry and exit periods, then all ok.

You'll find out when you apply for the visa I guess.

I'd be covering my ass and renew it now. ????

Sorry, but I beg to differ. I've made numerous calls & sent many emails to the Aussie embassy both in Bangkok & Canberra. Never had a problem. Maybe it's how they are approached that determines the response.
