  1. I think the best place for Yamaha servicing is now the Mityon garage on Thepprasit Road. It's on the left going towards Sukhumvit about 800 yards before Suk. It is rarely busy and they seem to know what they are doing.

I agree. If you are coming from the beach end of Thep Phrasit, go past Soi Kopai, a very busy uncontrolled intersection that leads across the road to Thep soi 7 on the opposite side (where there is yet another Mityon Honda shop).

Go past Kopai/Thep 7. The small Mityon Yamaha repair shop is on the left side of Thep about 200 metres before the PTT station. First you will pass a Honda retailer, then Yamaha dealer (yes, all Mityon). Attached to the Yamaha dealer is a small four-bay repair shop. The boss is a young guy with glasses and long hair. He's a pretty cool guy and speaks English OK.

    Nice one appreciate the help

  3. Have you tried different browser to see if its just related to your main browser? id try the big 3 IE, Firefox and Chrome and if it happens on all 3 then it is most likely a virus of some kind, if it doesnt happen on all 3 and only on the one then delete all cache/history and try again, if still the same delete the browser profile which mainly is in a folder accessible by typing %appdata% into a window then look for a profile folder of some kind delete it and reboot machine, worst case in deleteing a profile will just remove bookmarks and history in the case of firefox it will delete addons on also, chrome syncs extensions so if you delete profile then login the extensions will come back again

  4. Godaddy are not that good, the updating isn't instant like most others take around 30 mins or so, try name cheap.com for domain registrar and the shop around for hostin

  5. Right, it's a plan then!

We will drive looks like about a 4 hour trip. Will get a hotel in Mukhadan for the night and to the visa in the morning.

Probably plan to go up on Thursday next week and get the visa sorted on Friday morning. Hopefully it's a drop-in service, no need to arrange an appointment??

Will report back when do for the benefit of other readers.

You will need to have a night in Savannaket, you drop the visa off at the embassy in the morning and pick it up the next afternoon, but looking at the calendar next Friday is a bank holiday, so if you need it by next week go on Tuesday night, drop passport on wednesday AM before 11 and pick up on Thursday PM after 1

  6. If you got 400k baht in the bank you can get a Extensiosn of Stay based on married to a thai wife, good for 1 year and no need to leave the country just go to immigration every 90 days, if you havent got 400k then go to Savannaket laos as last time I went i got a 1 yr non-o by showing my marrige cert and kids birth certificate.

As you are married you can also work on a NON-O

Any idea what the price is for the NON-O visa in Savannaket?

If you are not far from savannaket then you can just drive , its not far from mukhadan, the cost for a 1yr Non-O is about 5k then every 90 days you need to leave the country to do a border run, you can get 15 month out of it if you tiime it right, ie do a border run 1 day before the visa expires.

  7. Is anyone actually forcing the OP to watch TV?

There is always one hey, nobody is forcing me to watch it just an observation that when I do occasionally glance over its just some1 always crying, always mad with there boyfriend or any other reason to just not be happy

  8. The simple answer is no you cannot it can only be done from inside the router itself, some routers have a hardware button to turn on off but it's pretty pointless in your situation as the other people could just turn it back on again,

  9. Does seem like a hardware issue if it freezes when you try a clean windows reinstall

Try taking all hardware that you do not directly need to start windows and have the basics, CPU, RAM, on board video and see if you still have the problem, if it does them you know it is indeed either the board, the ram or the processor and they will need replacing , if the PC works fine with the basics then its one of the other things you have attached and then you new to add each device until you find the problem.

A lot of the time it is USB devices so if your board has a PS2 connector for mouse n keyboard try that also

  10. How much whiskey are you drinking and crack are you smoking to spend 40k a month? I live well on 12k a month. Movies, hi-speed internet, high-end smart phone, holiday to CM a couple times a month, eating out twice a day... obviously if you're buying hookers regularly or spending every night sauced up at the bar 40k isn't going to cut it.

Come on man that's a bit far fetched under 3k per week and ur eating out twice a day and holidaying to CM twice a month!,
