  1. Hi everyone. Thanks for your replies. Maybe I didn't explain things clearly in my first post as I tried to keep it brief. I am not looking for a job, I already have a job in a private school, what I want is to be able to get a work permit. I am studying for my degree but have at least another two years before I finish.

  2. I have heard many stories about this: yes it's possible, no it's not possible but what I would really like is a straight answer from someone with personal experience. If there is anyone on this forum who has a work permit as a teacher but no BA degree, would you please be kind enough to send me a PM advising me what the school and I would need to do to obtain a work permit,

Thank you very, very much in advance.

  3. Yes there is a question, I want to know if anybody knows what is wrong with it.

Thanks for your reply DaffyD, yes my bandwidth is set to unlimited 0.

It tells me that portforwarding is unavailable as all ports are closed.

  4. Hi, I am looking for somewhere cheap to stay for about a week during April or May.

We can't pay more than about 800 baht per night but as long as it is clean that is all we are bothered about because we will only be sleeping there. We will be out all day and we have our own transport so it doesn't matter where abouts it is.

I have checked out the website for Siam Hut, which seems ok. Has anyone stayed there or could recommend somewhere better thats in our budget. Many thanks for your help.

  5. Ha Ha, you sound a bit like me. I have stopped and started more times than I can remember. Was back on them for about 18 months and now on day 3 of quitting (again). Worst thing is my favourite drink whisky and coke tastes like crap, most of my friends smoke so if I get desperate I can always get hold of one.

Sometimes when I am quitting I get that depressed I am almost suicidal, I don't want to live if I can't have a smoke, but the ironic thing is I hate smoking, I hate the smell of it, and it just makes your life inconvenient - stopping what you are doing so you can have a smoke. The thing is I know in a few weeks I will be feeling so good, I just can't keep hold of that feeling for when the cravings kick in.!

  6. Thanks to everyone for your advice, I've not been online for a few days or I would have replied sooner. It doesn't seem to be getting any worse which is good. I am going to try changing her diet and start with the vets shampoo tomorrow and see what happens. Will keep you all posted.

  7. I have an eight week old puppy dog that is losing it's fur. The vet doesn't seem overly concerned, he just took a quick look and gave me some medicated shampoo. But because she has just had vaccinations I can't start to use the shampoo for at least a week.

A friend has said that it may be the start of mainge so now I am getting concerned and wondering whether to go to another vet.

Has anybody had any similar experiences? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

  8. Do you know if they repair camcorders also? The zoom button is broken on mine, although it still works via the remote.

The only JVC dealer I can find in Sriracha wants to send it to Bangkok, and it will take a month!!!
