  1. So since the Thai embassy in Singapore only issues single entry non "O" immi visas now; if I'm granted this visa, I can come into Thailand, then get an extension of stay and before leaving the country get a re-entry permit (4000 baht) to enable me to enter multiple times throughout the year? I only ask because I am am on a 6 week on/6 week off schedule and was planning on trying for the non "O" immi multi entry this time through Singapore, but obviously this option is gone. How much is the extension of stay and where do I get it? What paperwork do I need to show for the extension of stay, and the re-entry permit? Thanks

  2. I've seen on many of the threads about the Thai embassy in Singapore wanting to see 400,000 baht in the bank for a one year non-immigrant "O" multi entry visa, but have not see any info about how long the finances need to be in the bank. I know in the past individuals were putting sums of money in the bank, getting the visa, then withdrawing the money right away. I have the money in the bank, and am not planning on withdrawing it, but it only recently got deposited. Does anyone know if the embassy wants to see the money in the bank for a certain time period, or just wants to see 400,000 baht? Thanks in advance.

  3. I recently went to Singapore to apply for a multi entry one year; with Thai marriage certificate, letter from my employer stating my job status/income, check stubs showing my over 40,000 baht (substantially over), a month income, and came away with a single entry 90 day non-immi O. The lady at the counter said I needed to show a bank statement, but wouldn't clarify how much was needed in the bank or if income had to be shown going into the bank steadily. I've read many different theories on what they want, but don't know the latest. Does anybody know what the latest from the "Land of smiles" is?
