Why does the heading say he was killed by two English men when it appears that may not be the case?
at least, he was a "so-called victim" ... what a lot of crap in print ...

the readily expected standard statement "....natural cause...." is missing this time, editor's negligence?

i paid about 3000 - include modem , sim , and- ? one month or what? cant uderstand
yes, it always pays to know what one pays for!
I assume (do not take me for granted !!!): Your initial payment was for the modem only (normally, the C.A.T. system does not require a sim card) with maybe
one or two months' usage free of charge. Thereafter, you will get monthly invoices (which you preferably should pay, else you be writing here again "modem does not work anymore")

What a surprise, corruption at all levels, this must be Thailand
don't forget, nothing better than the tsunami could happen to these scum bags - many new, rich people at that time

I also run Win7 on a note book, provider CAT CDMA with a modem I bought from them (how about yours?);never had any problem
this CAT modem has all necessary software on board its own memory, so really nothing do for you but switch on and connect. If it really still does not work: Take note book and modem, put it on the table of the CAT shop, they should fix it for you

Thai nationals only have to present their ID card (no passport necessary) when entering Laos, this goes for all regions/areas, not only for the capital

TAXI
FLIGHT LANDS AT 7-10, HAVE TO CATCH TRAIN AT 9-20 FROM HUA LAMPHONG STATION TO HUA HIN, WILL I MAKE IT?
no sweat - if you really won't make it: Re-direct the taxi straight to HuaHin, a bit more costly (approx. thb 2000) but no toil & trouble - this would have been my recommendation anyway would you have asked how to get to HH without major stress

very good that no outsider was hurt - losses in the inner gang circles are inevitable in any case ...
:D

The plot is 1.549 rai in dimension and 5.421 mill thb in cost
(since 1 rai = 1600 sqm)
n.b. with almost 2200 postings in this community (long time,eh?) you
are still not familiar with the basics nor do you know where to readily
find them on the internet ?!

saw most of it some time ago in "FreshMart" TheMall in Khorat - might still be on sale.

I think it makes it cheap & easy for airport staff to get to work & not a lot else
not even for them it will be easy - in the morning it should be alright without luggage,
but once all of them security people, luggage handlers etc. travel home they will have
to accomodate all these big, full bags on board the train...

I had a truly fantastic, out-of-the-world, absolutely unconventional idea of just googling for "uk embassy bangkok":
the result I got was totally unexpected:

people say "the best Phuket gun shops are to be found in PhnomPenh, Cambodia..."

... Another tourist that will tell his friend's how wonderful the Land of Smiles is...
dont't blame any country on bloody ignorance about anything financial

the bunch of your questions indicates you want to avoid spending money on a professional consultant here in Th., who
would help you with a full start-up model - this is not a very professional way to install a business on cheap, free-of-charge
hearsay recommendations...

hopefully they'll get promoted
of course - but then, even in LOS "Peter's Principle" seems to be applied

Out of interest, can anyone NOT on TOT still download?
downloading perfect as ever on CAT CDMA

wrapping the box would not help because in BKK airport he would go through the "goods to declare" gate,
wouldn't he? He can of course also chose the gate "nothing to declare" and have fun ...
-
just for a start, google this "rent car driver pattaya", helps a great deal already...
-
definitely YES - unfortunately, I forgot about the location of that shop (shop's name was/is "gimme a brow")

a foreigner working on one's own land is not the problem - but the tractor: Do you have a tractor operating / driving licence ??
somebody who envies you about the tractor might take this to a case... special "gaan khaset" licences (operating farming machinery)
have to be obtained for tractors, caterpillers, excavators, combined harvesters, even for the 4-wheeled truck-like Isaan TukTuk

Is that before or after 3G, 3.9G, 4G or whatever G comes next?
I heard that in some areas they prepare for the G-string already

"Meanwhile, domestic tourism will also expand by 3% next year with at least 91 million trips to be made by Thai tourists"
this increasingly is the half-drunk bunch on the roads when heading home for some holiday and, of course, plenty of
government officials, teachers and students who are TAT- induced to aimlessly travel up and down the country

"...a famous fortune-teller said a disaster would hit the southern part of Thailand before the end of this year...."
