It amazes me that any country can find the time and the will to prosecute someone for this, given the current situation, with every country trying to find room for all the refugees. France should be ashamed of itself. They have too many other refugees to deny this little girl a loving home...assuming it is a loving home she would be going to.
Let him go to Britain...do a background check on him and his family and move on people...there's too much to do.

When is someone going to pursue the police for causing death by "depraved indifference".
-
I guess they must have sold some submarines.
-
"...Police said today they would go after the hacker collective known as Anonymous..."
They are smoking the good stuff again.

This is so inane. An IDP does nothing more than translate your national license to 10 different languages and none of these languages is Thai. Therefore, having an IDP does not make Thai roads any safer by a long shot and never will.

The RTP sure spend a lot of time threatening to do things that are way beyond their control.
A new low.

Interesting. I have a 1000 complaints about driving in Thailand and how Thai people conduct themselves on the road, but...
...this is one characteristic I haven't experienced much of.

"...Mexican drug kingpin Joaquin "El Chapo" Guzman is being treated worse in prison than Adolf Hitler..."
My heart bleeds for him...NOT!
Maybe he should end his life to end his horrible treatment. That would be far better than the people got, whose deaths he has been directly or indirectly involved in.

Cambodia's police have asked their counterparts in Thailand to provide help to enhance the ability of the Kingdom’s force to carry out anti-terrorism investigations,
Yeah, not exactly who I'd be asking for help.

Someone who is drowning is going to struggle a lot. He didn't just fall unconscious.

The authorities are bluffing (a polite way of putting it) in what they say they know. They know the IP addresses my #@$. All they know are anonymous proxies the hackers used which doesn't tell them squat.
"...He said the Court of Justice would consider legal action against the hackers..."
There is no way they could ever find out who they are and if by chance they lucked out they couldn't prove it. What a complete waste of breath.

A million refugees in Germany...good luck with that.

"...The Constitution Drafting Commission has given an assurance that there are no attempts to infringe people’s rights in the new charter..."
Humm, yet to be determined. Truth is like mercury with this government...always slipping away.

"...unusual prevailing situation..."
...meaning he doesn't have to appoint someone who actually understands the rubber industry. He just wants someone who will follow orders and do his bidding.

Illegal arrest warrants, using illegal laws made by an illegal government.
This and all the other suppression of freedoms since the coup is very bad for Thailand's standing in the world community.
-
Very strange.
You get the feeling there's a little bit more to this story ?
it just don't sound right !!!!!!
Exactly so. These people were are a popular beach with other tourists and they were scared? The article didn't mention any guns or knives. Definitely something more to this story, but as always the quality of reporting is horrible.
-
"...they would file a complaint against the hackers..."
Who are the going to file the complaint with.
-
Maybe they could discover a little tourist safety...nah, just dreaming.
-
This action and other actions this government has taken since the coup will guarantee Thailand stays at the bottom on the next human rights report.

There you go NRA, see what a wonderful toy the gun is in the hands of an untrained person.
-
Now if they can just figure out what they are supposed to do.

This is what you get as a reward from the Iranians for your new nuclear deal-gift to them Obama.

That is a large amount of cash for such a young guy.
Hopefully he can provide an ATM slip for his cash withdrawal.
Since when is 20.000 B much money?
Carrying that much on you is being an idiot. I never carry more than 5,000.

Quick! Get this new section of the charter to the junta so they don't waste anymore money on military toys.
PM Prayut concerned over domestic unrest, pushes lawful resolutions

"...the government continues to push for a civil state, in which Thai citizens would have a greater degree of participation in their public administration..."
Uh-huh, it's called Democracy with freedom of speech, expression and assembly, which all human beings have a right to.
...something the current Thai leaders are fighting tooth and nail.
