Occupying land taken as a result of repeated attacks is not stealing. If they had never been attacked they would not be there. They left the Gaza strip and look what happened. Israel is entitled to defend it's self and the old he's not against Jews just the Israeli govt is a worn out excuse for hating Israel and what it stands for.
So, when will Israel de-occupy then?

Can't really see what the guy on the very left (holding the tiger) does, but the punk in yellow (coming from the right) just rams a stick into the ground in front of the tiger to then (clearly satisfied with himself, the arrogant prick) slowly walk off...
However, we all know that most people running such attractions have none whatsoever love or sympathy for the animals they are exploiting/abusing. All we can hope for is, that eventually they'll receive their punishment via Karma, what means that the tigers, some day - when those people least expect it - will turn on their "masters" and devour their flesh...
I, for myself, will boycott such places and tell friends and relatives to avoid them.
Of course, all of those people running and working at such tourist attractions are foreigners, since Thais would never do such despicable things, especially are they not fiddling about at black markets, trading protected animals, they'd never do that! Hence, "Severe crackdown on part foreign-owned tour operators - how does that sound, officer Somchai?" "Grrrreaaat and fantastic, seargant Aroon!"
there are always a few "westerners" "volunteering at the place
The temple is now not allowed to charge visitors to the place.
There are still many well-known tour companies who should know better offering tours of the place and charging accordingly. If the mass tours stopped thew temple would flounder
The Chinese tour groups will keep these things making money. They have no scruples.

I'm in the same position as him, on bail without my passport. It's standard for any foreigner on remand.
For the people questioning the legality of holding someone's passport, here is how it works:
Yes, he can go to the British Embassy and they will help. They can either request the return of his passport, or issue a replacement passport.
But in both cases he will be breaking the conditions of bail, and a new arrest warrant will be issued. So he'll get his passport but be stuck back in jail.
The passport is pointless anyway as anyone in the court system is placed on the immigration police's watch list. Come to close to the border or an airport and you'll get detained for trying to flee.
I guess the prosecutor is appealing the verdict of the appeals court, and that's why he is still held on bail even now. He has had two court victories but if it wasnt for paying bail, he would still be in jail right now.
I assume you work in Thailand and or are an expat?
So, what would happen if say a tourist with limited funds finds themselves in a similar scenario?
If they run out of money, do they go homeless? Are they allowed to work?
With no passport would they have to find illegal work?

Those who champion the Thai police - try a little experiment. Get some white washing powder and put some in a small 5x3cm bag. Then take a stroll around Sukumvit 20-23 until you are stopped on the street by a couple of Thai police on motorbikes. When they find the bag on you, explain it is washing powder.
Report back with your findings.

So what about the ones that vanished?
Will they meet the fate like this one - destined for the country where many share an amoral mindset when it comes to animals - Vietnam?

I will believe the expansion to Utapao-Rayong-Pataya International Airport happening when I see it (if I am still alive because it could take 50+ years to get off the ground (no pun intended)).
What would be the point expanding to there anyway? I could understand an expansion to Pattaya but beyond that???
The current train service from Pattaya to Bangkok is 1 train a day? Would this line expanding even further south get the customers to make it profitable?

So typical of Thais and Thailand
Use whatever or whoever they can to make a Baht
Then when it is gone ... look around in stunned amazement "what happened"
No thought about tomorrow
No thought about the consequences of their actions or inactions
Just use it and abuse it until destroyed or gone
It is not only Thailand that has this mindset. There are other Asian countries too. China is the obvious one.
There are also people in the 'west' with that mindset.
