Yes , thanks for the heads up ..... I told three old girlfriends from the bar today & they are heading over to Sathorn tonight ..
Unless you know the exact place (and even then it would be probably be futile), it would be like looking for a needle in a haystack.

I hope it isn't an engagement ring:
Why Engagement Rings Are a Scam -
How do they define "quality"?
Entry is left to the discretion of a civil servant who rarely smiles sitting processing hundreds of immigration slips every day.

All evidence actually suggests that the universe does indeed work that way.I remember this and that same year a few months ago I was doing the same thing riding a bike touring this wonderful city. The perps will likely not be caught but rest assured, the universe does not work that way, they will pay terribly and suffer for eternity for taking a life without cause. RIP to the victim.
I admire your beliefs. But that is what the are.
Beliefs.
The facts aren't as nice.
Murdered young woman deprived of her life
an incompetent, uncaring police force who through sheer lack of ability, sense, sensibility and empathy, crowned with a ship load of corruption can't and won't solve cases like this.
no justice for her
And no retribution for the perp(s) of this heinous crime
And no sanctions for those who cover it up, and/0r run a slipshod investigation with no adoption of best practices.
And a family destroyed in Japan waiting to hear some news that will never come.

This is also one case, that I think back to whenever I read 'murder in Thailand'.
I would hedge a bet this will never be solved.

At least the Burmese won't get blamed for this one.

'But the minister said he rejected the demand, saying it would violate people's right to do business.'

The shop owners are connected to the powers that be, I wonder.

So he got off the plane and customs decided he needed an x-ray?
Anyone ever experienced that or know anyone who has when arriving in Thailand?

Seems like they are running a tight ship down there.

Something like 95% of Thais on FB believe it is a sham too.

The court case could be interesting.
Will they be representing themselves as they didn't ask for a lawyer.

If any police approached you with something like this, I would think they could stitch me up. Best to walk away if you can from the mafia

How many of these were visa runners?

How long do you stay in Thailand per year? Do you come in and out on the same day or after a few days?
I would complain to the Japanese embassy and possibly a media outlet in Japan. But, they would probably want to take a photo etc and reveal your identity, which could flag you at immigration.
Having to pay bribes to enter a country is 3rd world thinking.

Was the guy in the red shirt working for the airline?
If not, he has no right to demand an onward ticket from Thailand. It would be non of his business. Same with any visa for Thailand. Like you said, you could have entered as visa exempt, but the airline could still demand on onward flight.

If there was a natural disaster, these people would be the first to demand rescue dogs search for them.
I would say tough shit, you eat them, and have no respect for them, so you can't use them for anything else.
How many of the butchered dogs were peoples stolen pets?
