I see a news report this morning on Thai television. Didn't see any handling of tigers, looked like they were after the birds.

The
Abbotmonk did not look a happy chappy, must have a dose of bad karmaHe shaves his head when he pleases?
Those birds were probably on order for someone and he will lose a load of cash.

My worst experience when I took cabs from the airport (don't do it now) was when the taxi had NO AC. And I got stuck in a traffic jam for 20 minutes. I couldn't do anything with some bags in the boot/hood.
Adding 50baht to the fee will change nothing much.

So the other 19 have "connections" in the right places?

Police have yet to determine the cause of death for Annesley, who was discovered dead in her bungalow on 21 January. Police did not publicly confirm her death to the press until 23 January, and were quick to stress that Annesley "was not murdered."

Ever heard about right to privacy?
Do you have a google account?

Do the rent a goon litter cops give out receipts when they fine? Those of you that do get approached, ask for a receipt and take a photo of them. Or take a photo of them no matter what, or better yet, film it.
What would happen if you just walked away? If they laid a finger on you, wouldn't that constitute assault?

Some nutters here saying a man with a gun - a criminal, shooting an animal in the street didn't do anything bad!
If that happened in your home countries, you would if you were of sound mind, think he should be jailed.

"The Airport of Smiles"
When was the last time if ever someone at immigration actually smiled at someone giving them their passport?

It's illegal. Those saying it is no different to pigs or cows, and if someone wants to eat them they should, shouldn't you also allow for those that want to eat human flesh?
The reason people in most of the civilized world have an affinity towards dogs and find their culling for food or fur akin to savagery is because we have lived and worked with dogs for such a long time.
Then they also became pets.
Even in China millions are outraged that certain parts of China still butcher them.

time to wise up , go vegetarian.
I eat a lot of vegetarian food myself and I'm almost a vegetarian. But, I had a nasty case of food poisoning once from a vegetarian restaurant.

So you tie the cord around your neck then sit down under the door knob or what? How is that going to prevent the natural survival instinct as one starts to suffer or die?
I have no idea of a technique whereby someone can hang them self in such a way but apparently it's not uncommon.
I guess that means when my time, as a foreigner in Thailand, comes to be discovered having committed suicide it's going to have to be somewhat more dramatic to achieve the result. Suicide by going out on the job, perchance?
You could use the door knob from the other side with the cord going over the top of the door.

Objecting to having AIDS sufferers living nearby in Pattaya lol!
HIV and AIDS are not the same.

why do you all feel the need to comment on this? A man has died - end of story until something else comes up. Some of you need to get some fun in your lives!!
Says the person who made a comment.

Foreigner, white powder, Thonglo - that's all we need right now.

I don't know what would be better for it, life in the wild in Thailand or a hell hole zoo. Imagine if the roof top hell hole zoo in Bangkok got hold of it?

There was no hair on the head!

If found guilty, the suspects can appeal to the Appeals Court and then the Supreme Court. This will take years.
Whilst sitting in a Thai jail?
There, anything could happen to them to put this whole thing to bed.

You have more chance of being stopped at Asok, asked for ID, have yourself searched and asked to 'pay' a get out of jail fine, than experience terrorism.
Have they warned about the Asok goons?

Just when you thought you'd seen it all in Thailand, I will never forget being on a normal bus in Bangkok when the driver was racing at high speed to get to bus stops before another bus of the same number.
It was inane, pathetic and juvenile.

Thailand should be leading the way what with their so called reverence for the elephant.

I seem to remember reading when the protestors were camping in the park, there were less of them or they weren't to be seen.

That will hurt their image badly
I thought you would fully support a ban on alcohol.

I read on Stickman yesterday, that he has heard from readers (foreigners) being taken to a gas station and pee tested east of Asok (which is notorious for police stopping people on foot).

Just watched the video of the police entering and discovering the scene on liveleak.
Where she lay, she had her bag open with clothes next to it. Sad.
Tiger Temple raided:
in Thailand News

A few years ago the Indian authorities banned all tourist contact with tigers in national parks.
That is the way forward.
