I don't recall seeing any Ukrainians in Pattaya.
Met one in Jomtien once.
Very pleasant middle-aged lady, who explained to me that Ukraine was not Russia at all.

Dr Jack54.
Thanks
I'm a newbie to 90 day reporting. First time using this link.
I was able to register with your link. Received my password. Then filled out the the remaining info, but was rejected.
As a newbie do I have to report to immigration at Jomtien?
What documents should I bring with me besides my passport?
Do I need to make an appointment or can I just go any day?
Do immigration require photo copies.?
Thanks
TC.
Just stroll down Jomtien Beach Road till you get to Soi 5, then all the way down until you're almost at the dual carriageway and you'll see Immigration on the right hand side. Go through the courtyard and inside you'll find helpful officers. Go on a weekday. Mornings tend to be busier.

The nationwide mask mandate, including outdoors and even alone on a motorbike, remains.
(from the linked article)
Hopefully there will be no photos in AseanNow reports depicting politicians without a mask.

Whilst reading the linked article at PBS I noticed this:
but there seems to be no reporting of it here on Asean Now.
Extract:
Paween said that he had been persecuted and treated unfairly by the Royal Thai Police and the government, as he insisted that the story, as told in parliament by Rangsiman yesterday, is true.
The former police officer said he feels that he has only received half of the acknowledgement that he deserves adding that, had he been allowed to complete his investigation “several more big fish” would have been caught and brought to justice.
Rangsiman raised the issue directly with Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha, but the prime minister dismissed the issue and moved on to other matters, prompting the Move Forward MP to call the prime minister a “savage”.

It only surprises me that so many don't have the sense to keep quiet about it.

In March 2021, the European Medicines Agency accepted the filing package for vaccine candidate TAK-003, which is designated for people not previously infected.[6]
There are several other vaccine candidates in development including live attenuated, inactivated, DNA and subunit vaccines.

On the other hand, the Ministry of Public Health has always reserved plans, medicines, medical supplies, and personnel.
Terminological inexactitude?

Seksakol alleged that some NGOs have been supporting protest groups in Thailand.
Late last year, a few protests were held by pro-establishment groups calling for the expulsion of the NGO for similar reasons.
Wonder where these lackeys went to hold their protests.
Probably not the Democracy Monument.

Precedent seems to suggest that these pandemics fizzle out after about 2 years
I had Asian flu in 1958.
Don't particularly fear further variants now.
Wouldn't say no to a booster.
