No disrespect George, we older generation "ThaiVisa" members much prefer the prancing leopard as an avatar over your ageing image!
Good luck with the come back I, for one, certainly missed you.

Sattahip to Samui? That's a long swim.
Still, what could possibly go wrong?

Minimum order 1000 Baht, plus polystyrene boxed shipping about 300 Baht. The shop has a good selection.
I buy mature cheddar there every couple of months.

Thought this online system did not work with a VPN.
It does now.
Windows 11, Firefox 100.0.2. NordVPN.
Another giant step in the right direction.

What happened to the plastic bag policeman and all his cars?
Delaying tactics continue there too, waiting for the outrage to subside totally and fade into yesterday's news.
Moved to Nakhon Nowhere and disappeared at some future date? Cars already disappeared at a guess.

Barely convicted. Thong Pha Phum district courthouse in Kanchanaburi province today convicted Premchai for illegal weapons possession (a six-month jail sentence), the killing of a pheasant (another two months) and conspiracy to poach wildlife (eight months) but acquitted him of the most serious crime, reported BBC Thailand.
Charges related to the possession of the black panther carcass were instead pinned on the three other defendants in the case.
Indisputably, plus he got kid gloves treatment for playing sick.
Best I could find.

Who was the last very rich person, top cop, top immigration, customs or army official here, who was arrested, tried, convicted and sentenced to prison? Bet you can't name one.

Exquisite little euphemism.

Thanks for the reminder.

Wonder where that file photo came from.
Maybe the turquoise neckscarf, violet facemask and Medusa wig set off a facescan alert.
Probably just triple protection though.

The reminder is generated by the online reporting system based upon your most recent online report.
Yes
Many thanks, Joe.
It's a relief if only necessary to go to the office once a year.

If you do it online your local office will reject your application since their records will show your report is not due until JUly 25th.
Thanks, Joe.
So the automatic reminder is not updated by local office changes. Good to know, since the officer neglected to mention that.
Will it be possible to do the July report online?

I'm in a slightly similar boat...although my lag time is a mere 5 days.
I would try online in the period leading up to 24 May, and depending on what happens, and if rejected I'd try in the period leading up to 26 Jul. And if rejected, go in person end of July and try to get back to online end October.
Right, thanks.

This morning the following email arrived:
Your receipt for notification of "STAYING LONGER THAN 90 DAYS" will be due on 24/05/2022.
Please apply TM47 request online or contact the Immigration Branch Office in your residence area before due date.
This email is auto-generated. Please do not reply. In case of any queries, please contact ROYAL THAI POLICE IMMIGRATION BUREAU.
2 weeks ago was at Immigration Office Khon Kaen doing my annual extension of stay, non-O retirement.
After paying, the officer (some kind of senior sergeant) stapled a new report date into my passport: 26 Jul 2022.
I pointed out that I had been doing the 90 day reports online and was due again on the 24th of May. She was indifferent to this, so thankyou, wai, 'bye.
My thinking is do it online before 24.05, and if successful just lose the paper stapled in the passport. Would that work?
If not successful, in person 26 July. Not keen on the long round trip though.
Thanks.

We've seen a big decline in our province, down from a peak of 449 cases on the 19th April to just 90 reported today. Let's hope this is trend continues.
Khon Kaen 480 on Friday. (Thaiger).
Where are today's totals?

Now we know why Bhutan holds such an attraction.Source wiki, of course.
Gross National Happiness (GNH), sometimes called Gross Domestic Happiness (GDH), is a philosophy that guides the government of Bhutan. It includes an index which is used to measure the collective happiness and well-being of a population. Gross National Happiness Index is instituted as the goal of the government of Bhutan in the Constitution of Bhutan, enacted on 18 July 2008.[1]
