Because I copied a pasted the headline doesn't make it false... wasn't meant as a shout... it just didn't reduce in size as I thought it would when I clicked on the banner... sorry if it distracted you from your denial safe place.
I understand the headline perfectly. Not sure how it challenges what I said. The DNC paid the legal bills of President Biden to defend against a political attack from a republican wing of congress. The RNC is paying the legal fees of trump in personal cases. I am sorry you can't see that, but it could not be any more simple.
Hope you are having a good Songkran

No need to be explained.
It is really a very simple case, involving campaign finance violations and falsification business records.
One defendant was convicted , and not is the turn of the other.

You didn't comprehend the OP did you... even your conflicting statements above don't compute... the dnc went from $15000/month to $100000/month retainer for their law firm in order to defend joe.
Have no idea what you are talking about.
I still stand with what I said.

He intends to appeal but the appeal is to Deputy PM Anutin, who's said it will be denied. I don't think he'll change his mind, as he publicly told Fehr to "go home."
Oh I am sure he is going back home , especially now that Anuit has taken a position and would be loss of face if it went differently.
But if he has the option to appeal , there might be a statutory length of time he has to do so, so he can burn that time and appeal on the last minute. Then who knows how long it will take for the appeal process, so there is some more time to potentially burn. I am not sure what if any assets the Swiss expats has here in Thailand, and he might want to use such time to set his affairs in order.

The question I have is.
since all of my transfers can be covered under the " only taxed at the source country" im my case US, The do I even need to file a return? because as I understand it , if your income in Thailand is below the "assessable" level you don't need to file a tax return
I would appreciate it if someone could answer this question.

No, good point. He'll need to leave under his own power as soon as it expires. If not he'll then be detained and deported when caught on overstay for the reason of visa expiration. Fehr will be on immediate overstay when eligible for release, so he'll be escorted to the airport unless he has no ticket.
So it seems we both might be right,
I really don't know much about this case. other than the basics . and I have not been following closely.
I think the Swiss Expat is appealing the revocation of his visa, so until such time there is a decision, the issue, he is under consideration and does not need to go anywhere.
Or has a decision been made already?
but when the visa is revoked, it is in fact a de facto deportation, but perhaps, Technical not.
because even though the Swiss Expat has to leave in both cases , the long term problems might be different for the two options..
If he was deported , he might not be able to come back for a length of time, or perhaps never. . But if his visa was simply revoked , then he could possibly go back home get another visa and come back .
Unless of course he becomes persona non grata .

can a foreigner stay in Thailand without a visa?

Well, say the old Farang has a large piece of titanium inside him
a Titanium fire and then an explosion from a pacemaker would be a fine last joke for a farang to play on the old wife. You might even give her a heartattack and the two of you can get a two for the price of one cremation.
Talk about going out with a bang!! and save some money.

Songkran weekend and hiding in the house.
what better time to make Mango turnovers.
The difficult part was finding mangoes this time of year
but I managed to get my hands on a couple.
peeled them removed the seed and chop them up
Three tbs of sugar, 2 tbs of cornstarch to thicken the mix . and 1 teaspoon of vanilla.
over low heat for 3-4 minutes until sugar is melted.
butter puff pastry squares with a few lines cut on the center of the top half. A tablespoon of filling on the center of the bottom half.
Paint edges with egg wash
fold over and pinch edges with fork. and paint outside with egg wash.
bake at 400 f until golden brown, flip over and bake for a few more minutes .
The white you see outside is a cake butter and sugar cake topping I had leftover from last week when I tried to make a layer cake. (not very successful but a good effort for a first time.)
Anyway here are the pictures, cause I know many of you have problems with words . especially big ones
plenty of them to last me the weekent. Someone please call me and let me know when it is safe to go outside again.
But I warn you!! If I come out and don't see my shadow, I am going back in

You never fail to disappoint. Nothing consistent.
Nonsense!!
The DNC does not spend a single penny of grass-roots donors' money on legal bills, unlike Donald Trump, who actively solicits legal fees from his supporters and has drawn down every bank account he can get his hands on like a personal piggy bank.
In addition what the DNC paid for was for legal fees with in the political arena, where what the RNC is doing is paying for trump's personal legal issues.

Someone needs to be blamed, and who more convenient than illegal aliens who have no capacity to defend themselves at the political level..
With stagnating birth rates all around the world many countries are having workforce , and demographic issues. They are faced with an increasingly aging population.
This is an issue in many different levels , but a couple of important one is that older people consume more services, especially medical, and retirement. . And retirement systems have less young working people contributing and supporting the system.
The US has a superpower. Immigration!!! both legal and illegal. and it is helping it maintain a competitive edge. Illegal immigration provides a steady influx of young hardworking man with a higher fertility rate, who are willing to work for less, at jobs that few americans want to do.
MagaMorons complain about inflation. If illegal immigration was to be completely eliminated and all these jobs that illigals do had to be done by legal native workers, what do they think will happen to the cost of these services and produce?
But you can't explained such things o magamorons, you know why? The clue is in the name I use to describe them. not only are they magamorons they are profoundly undereducated in these issues. It is like trying to describe a color to a blind person. it is an exercise in futility.
So what is the real concern of the magamorons? it is thinly veiled racism and cultural ethnocentrism, everything else is pure BS.
Go you remember what the magamorons were chanting at the infamous tiki torch rally, in Charlottesville?
it started with "you will not replace us" and in what they thought was clever changed to "Jew will not replace us" and I dont blame them , no one want's to be replaced
Well I got news for them, Get an education, Work hard , stop drinking and doing drugs, and no one would want to replace you, otherwise you are an endangered species, and the only way you will not be replaced is is violence.
Then you have trump and all the trump wannabes , and they can use the ignorance and violence of the magamorons,
And use they will.
not using it would be leaving money on the table, and players do not leave money on the table if they can help it.

A easy mistake for the American. no one told him that he was not in Kansas anymore (Wichita, Kansas)
Unfortunately here in Los getting drunk and acting stupid is a capital offence , which is a big part of the declining population problem in Thailand.
