  1. Describe the pain. Is it dull and nauseating? Is it sharp and agonising? Is it easy to locate (could you point to it?). Is the pain isolated in one location? Do you also feel the pain in other parts of your body (your shoulder, arms etc)?

Is the pain in your stomach area or in your intestinal area?

Have you had a doctor have a look inside (stuck a camera in there)?

  2. New update:

I can only find this in the Thai press currently, but the director has resigned and he has explained his resignation is because the five potential investors did not intend to proceed.

This means Zipmex will not be able to abide by the court rescue scheme. Presumably the feeding frenzy will now begin for all the creditors to grab what they can of the carcass of Zipmex.

    RIP Zipmex

  3. For food, I'll give a 10 baht tip if it's nearer than 4km and a very simple and quick order.

For over 8km, it becomes very challenging to persuade drivers to take the order, so I used to bribe with a 60 baht tip. The priority fare algorithm has improved recently so I rarely need to use this now.

In very challenging conditions, such as when it rains or is a public holiday, I'll increase my fare by 20 or 30 to bribe their acceptance.

I will reward by 10 or 20 extra if they scrupulously obey my messages ("don't phone me" etc).

As of yesterday, the lowest preset fare on the App is 20 baht! So the App wants us to be more generous! 555

  4. I've done a few things...

I went into the prime minister's residence after the yellowshirts had taken it over. A lot of chaos but never felt too dangerous.

I went through the live fire zone set up by the army when the red shirts took control of the centre of Bangkok. I then walked in the complete pitch dark to the red shirts, praying that they would not shoot me dead.

I am attracted to real world excitement. No girly skydiving or free climbing for me.

    CCleaner

This will specifically identify what programmes are slowing your computer down, and then you can remove those programmes with CCleaner as well.

A few months back, my office computer was very slow to start. By using CCleaner identified that two simple Print to PDF programmes were hugely slowing down my computer.

  6. What I find strange about this is that both my Apps for Kasikorn and TTB both announced around 3 weeks ago they would need facial scanning recognition to proceed, but then a couple of days later both announced on the Apps that I had waived the requirement. I had not done anything except pressed "agreed" to using facial scanning.

After that, both Apps then blocked me from using the Apps until I disabled the "accessibility" function on my phone. This function on the Samsung S20, allows Apps to "watch" other Apps. In my case, I use it among other things for an antivirus App and a YouTube ad skipper App as well as around 5 other Apps. I did this a couple of times and the banking Apps worked fine as long as the accessibility function was off. There was no sign of any facial scanning.

Around a week ago, the Kasikorn app started working again without any demand to switch off "accessibility". The TTB App continues to demand that I remove the accessibility function (this would take around 5 to 10 minutes each and every time I switch on the TTB app, making it functionally useless should I for example want to buy a coffee by scanning through the App).

I find this pretty bizarre since nobody has seemed to mention these extra demands of the Apps on Thaivisa, as well as the odd way the banks are working in lockstep.

You genuinely seem bewildered judging by the amount of incorrect information

There are a variety of ways to note my bewilderment. One is to notice the contents of my post where I state that I am genuinely bewildered. My bewilderment can also be inferred from the structure of my post. Thirdly, my appeal to others and my caution as to the accuracy of my post also display my genuine bewilderment. I'm glad that from that you are able to a certain that I am genuinely bewildered.

  8. If there is no bacterial infection, this is famously challenging and frustrating.

To quote the Merck's Medical Dictionary:

    "Chronic prostatitis/chronic pelvic pain syndrome

Treatment is difficult and often unrewarding. In addition to considering any and all of the above treatments, anxiolytics (eg, selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors [SSRIs], benzodiazepines), sacral nerve stimulation, biofeedback, prostatic massage, and minimally invasive prostatic procedures (such as microwave thermotherapy) have been attempted with varying results."
