    the quality of the buildings in china top notch has to be there they shoot you if you get it wrong

    Ridiculous have they never heard of cold joints Cold joints typically occur when fresh concrete meets hardened concrete (or partially set), creating a structural discontinuity that can lead to many issues, such as water infiltration, decreased structural strength, and bad aesthetics. but to be fair you realy need to see the repair procedure at the least they need a bonding agent

    the plans were approved by thailand But any first year student will tell you that Table top design is not recommened for earthquakes and unstable soils and i think money changed hands not only for the approval of the design but also shoddy materials were used the project was rife with corruption and not only the contractors should be liable but also the thai goverment And if you are going to post lets get it right first time

    The design did not comply with Thailands standard it is a Table top design which is Not recommend for Quakes the construction standards are fine what you are saying this the matrials used did not come up to specification
