Yes, I understand that I have to have a consultation with an orthopedist first and hear what he thinks. Incidentally, I found out that when it comes to PRP injections Samitivej has more reasonable prices than Bumrungrad, but so far I haven't found anything about Samitivej offering injections with Hyaluronic acid, maybe you know more about this! Why weird? He may be retired and probably likes to do something during the day that not only benefits him but also the neighborhood. I would love to do the same myself, but all these stories about immigration who on a bad "hairday", even for innocent simple work like mowing the lawn can get you into trouble. I live in an apartment where they keep order inside and out, but the grass cutting stops at the last centimeter of the land they own and there it is actually a sidewalk that has not been visible since the building was new. As it is now, pedestrians are directed to go out onto the road and we all know how dangerous it can be here, or through half a meter of high grass. Felt

Thanks Sheryl. Doctor fee for the injection is listed as included so are medicine (guess that is the Hyaluronic acid) and OPD facility and service charge but not doctor consultation. Listed in the package down right in the link. Anyway I keep asking myself if a injection with either Hyaluronic acid or PRP is for me! I mean is it for they who still are relatively activ and can do regular excercise included running or is it for they who are in so much pain that this is the last stage before knee replacement!? I've been considering a combination of platelet rich plasma and hyaluronic acid injections, and as far as I've seen on the Bumrungrad Hospital website, at least they promote it. If they use it as a treatment and their experience using it is another thing! I don't know if Samitivej offers the combination, but have seen an article about PRP on their website. Felt

It can certainly be bought from Lazada, but the brand I use is only to find from Pharma Nord (factory and drugstore outside Bangkok) and unfortunately that does not automatically mean that it is legal to take it with you in your suitcase coming in I think but Im hopefully wrong! Felt

I use the above vitamins for arthritis and would like to bring some with me from Europe, but don't know if it is considered a narcotic drug in Thailand and don't want to risk getting in trouble at customs because of some boxes of vitamins bought over the counter here. Does anyone know what I have to do regarding T.M 30 after 1 month abroad. I am on NON O extension based on retirement and it has been more than 3 years since I last submitted T.m 30 and then rules were somewhat different. Thanks Felt
