More nonsense. It seems few government officials can read a research study.

Well if I was aware I was getting in a lift with a bunch of covid infected people I would wear a good mask. Feel free to try the same experiment without one

Why isn’t Thailand being more consistent with its social distancing rules?......LOL, Thailand is ONLY consistent with Thai rules.
Anything else, the rules don't apply.
I think you mean that the Thai government is only consistent in being inconsistent.

Check your spam folder if you have not already. Last year I used an agent and then the online service successfully this time. It does seem to be hit and miss.

But personally I don't see the point of lunatic testing numbers. If you aren't ill you aren't ill. If you are you'll go and see the Doc and they'll put you in hospital if you need to be there. (Well that's what always happened before the planet lost its collective marbles.)
BINGO! Since when before this crazy virus did any sane person wake up and say, "Hey, self... I feel pretty good today, I think I'll go get tested to see if I have the flu."? Before you get your panties all in a bunch, I understand that you may want to test yourself if you've been exposed and don't want to get granny who is living with you sick but this continual cry for more and more and more testing just to increase case numbers is lunacy. Fewer people are dying and fewer are in hospital relative to the number of actual cases. Those are the only important numbers now.

So...IF I had a million dollars... would the best place to invest it really be in a visa so I can work? Why would I work if I had a million dollars? Please point me to anyone who falls for this. I have great deal on a bridge I can sell.

Hello? Freaking New Zealand about stopped all travel in or out and still had a ton of cases. Political hacks.

So government is aware digital nomads working but approving tourist visa?
Would it not be wiser to offer digital nomad working visa and perhaps collect some taxes?
No one in Thai Immigration understands what a digital nomad really is and no one has any idea what is really needed and no one will ever take the time to find out.

An encrypted database costs nothing. You just click the 'encrypt database' button when setting it up - if you can be bothered.....
You really have to protect your local network from the wider internet as well.

Sadly, few businesses or organizations of any size in Thailand take cyber security seriously.

Shushssss... don't tell anyone that more than 20 of the worlds richest tech billionaires never graduated college let alone have masters degrees.

How do you know the guy owned the gun illegally?

.03 % is within the natural variable. And even with this low percentage, it would be useful to know which of those unfortunate children had underlying factors.
Certainly the death of any child is a horror that no parent should endure and no caring parent would ever willing put their child at risk but 9 deaths out of about 10 million is very low.

My wife and I had COVID back in June. I know because we had the test for the antibodies and they were positive. We just stayed home until we got better. We were not counted in the statistics. We are not the only ones. Thousands who had mild symptoms never got tested or counted. Many, maybe even the majority of those don't even realize they had COVID. Everyone is screaming for "more testing". How often should you test healthy people? Every day? Deaths, specifically excess deaths, numbers over and above the norm is the only useful metric. Positive test numbers are useless.

Maybe if they wrote their ideas down first and read it back to themselves slowly. Nah... they'd still say it out loud.

So, you advocate more testing? Who would you test that are not being tested now?

"OK, you pesky foreigners, look we suck at this public health thing so shut up and shove off back to Australia".
BTW it's more like 5% fully vaxxed, 16% half-vaxxed.
I think he was just stating the fact that Thai people are not a lot better off, not an opinion wether it is good or bad.
