  1. What I find odd in this case is that the guy had previously ordered the woman to leave his house which she did and was living elsewhere. It seems the norm that males threaten females if they leave them, not if they stay. Maybe there was another reason she went after him having been ditched.
  2. I did a 'prompt' post some time ago re similar.
  3. Why do I have this mental picture of Asean staff having their daily meeting and brainstorming what would be the best 'clickbait' topics from their 'go to' list of fictitious members? Sadly it's indicative of how little there is in the way of real topics/posters here at the moment if you take away the news stories and these sad attempts to generate interest.
  4. I've had several different brands over the last 15 years, from Karcher through to Bosch, and my current machine is a Hyundai Hurricane. 225 bar and is excellent. I particularly like the hose reeling arrangement which prevents annoying kinking. Not cheap, but definitely a case of you get what you pay for.
  5. They sleep and spend most of their time inside the house, along with two other smaller dogs, and four cats. Nothing gets near our place without their knowing it and raising the alarm. Yes, great nature and non agressive, but their appearance doesn't make them any friends.
  6. 15 years same house, and always had dogs. Various gates and walls deter any casual thief, and any planned crime would know about the dogs.
  7. The shooter being apprehended, looks like a homemade twin pipe barrel gun.

    USED SIDECAR

Don't know about readily available, never seen one like that in Phuket. Here's new ones for sale, 3500 baht, unfortunately in Kanchanaburi not Phuket. https://www.facebook.com/groups/1454000551577152/permalink/3122809284696262/

    USED SIDECAR

Indeed, I saw this the other day, doesn't include the motorbike though. https://www.facebook.com/groups/1443771385886490/permalink/3133251736938438/?sale_post_id=3133251736938438
  11. Use an exterior gloss paint, no undercoat. These drain pipes are the typical blue plastic ones, painted 7 years ago. Certain places are favourite spots for birds to rest, but their crapping hasn't damaged the paintwork.
  12. I would swing by the Immigration Office, and get clarity on what is acceptable, preferably from one of the actual officers and not a volunteer. The IO's in Phuket are usually pretty good and consistent. Obviously you wouldn't have the actual bank statement/letter at this stage, but better to be prepared, and also make your actual extension application as early as possible (30 or 45 days before), giving time to get whatever else is required.
  13. Again, it's clear, you have to shown international transfers into your Thai bank a/c. Pay slips don't necessarily mean you have brought the money into Thailand.
  14. When you say pension letter from the UK, I take it that you mean a letter from your pension provider? It's clear in the PIV website, such letters are not acceptable, only a letter from an embassy/consul, which of course wouldn't be the case for a UK citizen amongst others.
  15. Nothing wrong with SCB, did a transfer about an hour ago, and just checked my A/C. All good.
  16. Had AIS for quite a few years and never a problem with their service. I see they're currently doing an option of 399 baht/month for 300 Mbps down/up. https://www.aisfibreonline.com/?gclid=CjwKCAjw5NqVBhAjEiwAeCa97Yb2fkqzlPQojNY20Ebkp2SqmWIBNy_N0wnXO_mCfaIUQ0yiBsv9LhoCeYIQAvD_BwE
  17. No, they are still there, I just ordered from two different suppliers. https://shopee.co.th/nj8fkolkgx https://shopee.co.th/kumashop888
  18. Got a couple of pipes this past week or so, one metal, one glass (the same as you've shown). Much prefer the glass one.
  19. It pays to have a thorough examination carried out. Some years ago, what I thought was sciatica, after tests turned out to be osteoporosis. Essentially loss of bone mass, and what I thought was sciatica was actually a small fracture of one of my vertabrae. No going back from this unfortunately. I'm not that old, so very unexpected. Do not self diagnose problems such as this, get yourself to an orphopedic centre at a hospital and get it thoroughtly checked out.
  20. Same same. Ordered on the 14th, just received.
