OP where did you obtain your non o (marriage)?
Thai Embassy in Helsinki.

I am in quarantine. Stamp says I can stay until 14th January. Visa with multi entry until end of September 2021.
-
Border runs are impossible I guess and situation is not that easy at the moment for many.
My question is that is there amnesty for the people who just got non o visa based on marriage with multi entry?
-
I came to Thailand just last Saturday with new Non O based on marriage MULTI ENTRY. I am now in quarantine and if in next 3-6 months quarantine gets shorter/cheaper, then I will fly out. I have 1 year covid insurance and new visa. It is now possible to fly with semicommercial (read cheap) flights. Only issue for traveling is the quarantine. New COE does not cost anything from the embassy and I can get the tests and certificates from the municipal healthcare. Cost 20 euros in Finland. It is not that difficult anymore after you have done it once.

From a embassy website (click the links).
"The applicant may download the Fit to fly form at F2F form or F2F-Form (1)"
Thats the fit to fly right? I am talking about the covid 19 test.
Cheers

I went to covid-19 test yesterday and got the result already today. I need to go and do the certificate at the hospital. Is there any rules what information certificate needs to have? Anyone has a sample to show? Thanks in advance.

Hi.
My non o visa expired end of July and I just got a new one with multi entry. I did extensions over 10 years and dont remember how this first trip to Thailand works with multi entry.
When I enter Thailand this week, do I need to fly out from Thailand after 90 days or what I need to do to have the 1 year multi entry visa valid whole year?
-
Hi.
Just to make sure here that when checking in to the flight the 72 hours timetable for covid 19 test is from the result time, not from the time when the test was taken? I can go for example 4 days before the check in to the test?
4.3 The original COVID-free Health Certificate (COVID -19 is not detected and the COVID test must be by RT-PCR method) and “Fit to Fly” doctor’s certificate, issued no more than 72 hours before departure.

Thanks for the info everyone.

I am returning to Thailand soon and would like to ask does anyone here have a sample of a fit to fly certificate?
Local doctor here in Finland doesn't know what it is so it would be great if I show a sample to him.
Thanks in advance.

Thanks for your reply fishtank.
After going through all the recent hurdles just to get back into Thailand, I don't plan to leave for a long time to come, so I won't be getting a new TM 6 card by departing/arriving.
I am wondering how immigration will view it since there always seems to be some form that asks for the TM 6 number. I can't remember off hand which forms those were, but over the last 12 years, I do remember being asked on more than one occasion for my TM 6 number.
I had the same issue. Problem was that I was not able to do 90 days report online. I sent the report by mail and put to the form that the TM6 is missing. No problem and got the 90 days report done. When I left Thailand June 11th they did not ask TM6 so was not a problem not having it.

I wont do TM30 again until I move to another address or they demand it for visa extension. Think about business travelers who live in a condo. They fly 1-2 times/week abroad. 50-100 TM30 reports every year? Right...

What is this 800 baht fine many are paying while doing TM30? We just finished here and didnt pay any fine.

Thanks for the answer. Last year it took 2 hours to get the extension done. Now there is 300-400 queus and upset looking people. Only 2 counters. We are still here waiting. Came 8:30am
Now 3.30pm.

So it seems tm30 is now mandatory at CW. Got a queu of 252 people before me. I just wonder is it like this every time I travel abroad and come back? I have wife and a kid. We have better things to do than queu whole day every couple weeks...
Other thing also that you need to have bookbank when you collect passport after pending period. So no extension if you touch the money before extension confirmed.

Traveled with my son from Suvarnabhumi airport December 18th. I use my EU passport he uses his Thai passport. Have a consent from mother. Immigration officer stamps the passport of my son.
Arrive back to Bangkok yesterday. Immigration officer stamps my son's Thai passport and puts 30 days "admitted until". I just wonder what went wrong and did they supposed to stamp my son's Thai passport at all? I just cannot believe that they thought we both have EU passports. Now it seems that my son who is Thai citizen has only tourist visa stamped into Thai passport ????

If you travel without mother make sure you have the consent done.
I had no idea that thing even existed until me and my son both were pulled out at the Suvarnabhumi passport control. We almost missed the flight. My son has Thai mother and both Thai and EU passports.

Question. I have always done extension but there might be a case that I wont have time to do it so when I come back to Thailand with expired non o based on marriage, I will get 30 days with tourist status and I can just go to Savannakhet with required papers and will get the non on based o marriage?
And how does the multientry visa first year goes? I need to get out of the country every 90 days and when the year has passed I will get the extension? I have some memory that you can get even more than 1 year with the non o visa first year?

You will just need to show both passports on entry to use your re-entry permit in the old passport. The officer will stamp you into the country in the new one.
You will need to have the stamps transferred from your old passport to new one at your local immigration office before applying for the extension.
Thank you for the info. :)

Hi. I know this must be a topic discussed many times but we are in Thailand and things change so updated info would be nice.
I am in Thailand with Non o extension based on marriage (will expire on July 31st). I will travel to Finland (my home country) start of July and I need a new passport for next extension what I am planning on doing when I get back to Thailand end of July (just before the extension expires).
My plan is that I travel with my current passport and do a new passport in Finland. The old one will have all the extension and re-entry stamps. My question is that when I arrive in Thailand with my old passport and new passport, what I need to do? Do I need to be pro-active about anything or just show both passports and immigration officer handles the rest? After arriving with both passports I will go to the immigration anyway after 1 week or so to do the next extension.
Is there anything I need to be aware of making new passport overseas and come with old one with stamps? Old one is obviously not valid anymore when new passport is made.
Thanks for the answers.

it made my life a lot happier and easier
Yeah but still about 50% marriages will end to divorce. It is like flipping the coin. Marriage will bring things which will cost you a lot if/when you divorce. You are one of the lucky ones who want to settle with one lady for the rest of your life. I like freedom and possibility to do exactly what I want and when I want. I also like the fact that I was married because I would not appreciate things I have when I am free from marriage.
-
I hope my post won't be deleted. I am still married myself but I have been married 10 years and I am divorcing soon. I did pay the car, mainly the house loan (house is paid) etc. It will never get even when you will divorce. It is like flipping the coin will your marriage last but trust me with this: Marriage will never get better when years go by. Only divorce will feel better after years go by.
It is not today's practice to marry but I would not change a thing. Lived in a great country and got a perfect son. You will get a lot of benefits by marrying. Dowry is a thing to show and not lose too much face and everyone (even you) would love to have free money. In your case I would pay 30000b just to show some respect. Usually those old grandmas and grandpas talk about dowry. It is even possible that you just bring the money for show. It is the culture. If asked or talked about...respect it or don't marry.
When you see the TV series and movies about foreigners arriving into the village, it is like a lottery for them. Farangs mean better living and money. And if you are poor. You are poor. If you love children, you need a lady. You will love the kid more than anything but that lady will get less and less love and things will change. It did for me and I guess for many else. You cannot force that love but ladies will and men are stupid thinking marriage will make things easier in life.

Monday did not show any difficulties making Non O extension based on marriage.
13:30 Got 2 queue numbers for non o extension based on marriage and 90 days report and address change.
39 queue for Non o
112 queue for 90 days report and TM32 address change form
It took 1 hours 50 minutes waiting 112 persons for 90 days report and 2 hours 10 minutes waiting non o 39 persons queue. 90 days report and address change took 5 minutes. Just gave the forms and passport. Non o took total of 20 minutes. Luckily we had the sale contract of the new house we just moved in. They wanted copies of it. Did that and then few new forms. One was about understanding the penalties of overstay and other was about the extension.
Overall have to say that it was much easier and friendlier this year. 2.5 hours on Monday in and out is very good in my opinion.
There was one guy having some issues. Officer said you need to have money 2 months and it was 2 weeks still to go. Rules are rules and I can understand that guys disappointment... With proper paperwork I think everything will go just fine. Like I said, easier compared to last year when all this social media form hassle etc. was.

If you have a non-o visa based upon marriage issued by an embassy or consulate you do not need to do anything unless you have something you need to do at immigration.
If you have an extension of stay (it is not a visa) based upon by marriage you could do the change of address at immigration when you do your next 90 day report. Bangkok immigration do not expect the reports to be done as soon as you move like other offices do.
Thanks. So my wife does not need to report anything to immigration? I will go and do 90 days report anyway that day sonI will change the address also.
Is there amnesty for non o marriage multi visa?
in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits

My plan is to travel many times next year and avoid the extension hassle for now. Or is this different from photos outside house, 400k bank account etc. extension?
I did 12 years extensions before and just wonder how people who are married and dont have that 400k are handling the situation. Are they thrown away from their families or overstay and fined?
Cheers.
