I doubt there will be as much talk about Lo Celso now.

Are you saying that buying TN means we will not buy LC or any other attacking midfielder ?  as the two are not connected.

Lo Celso would be nice. I just have a hard time with the idea that Levy us going to splash enough cash to bring in more than 3 or 4 top players. Here's hoping!

Of course Levy is not going to sign more than 3 or 4 top players, who said he was ?

Nah Ronnie, our injury strapped team will struggle on Saturday, 3 or 4 nil to City ????

Well i got that wrong, gave a much better account of ourselves than i thought we would, to go there and keep them to 4 shots on target ses a lot for our defence and i thought Foyth done great considering he was marking Sterling.Nice to see Dele showing flashes of genius. Anyway we all would have took getting through in the CL to winning yesterday's game and just need 8 or 9 points in my opinion to finish in top 4.

There's nothing different to this season, except Spurs have progressed further than usual in the CL.

I presume your 3 week gap in games was due to you being knocked out of the FA Cup and an international weekend and maybe because of caraboa cup final opponent game needing rearranging.

The PL fixtures are set each summer so nothing unusual there, though didn't the season start later because of the WC.

Spurs and Liverpool can have no complaints about the fixture arrangements but it does seem a bit unreasonable that the Dutch FA is permitted to cancel a round of fixtures

(is it legal? Will it be challenged?).

Winter break coming next seasin isn't it?

What are you on about ? what the Dutch Fa do is entirely up to them !!!!!

  10. 15 minutes ago, Bredbury Blue said:

Ok. Now see Bournemouth  is 2 days before the 2nd leg and is therefore exactly the same scenario as Burnley  vs City which would have been rescheduled. I will not be surprised  if  the Bournemouth game is rescheduled.

Oh great we all feel a lot better now???? your like one of them busy bodies who sticks their nose in everybody's business ????

Good. Then there's no reason to complain if spurs hierarchy accept the dutch FA postponing of a round of games.

I mentioned a postponement of a PL game based on Citys website noting on the tickets page for Burnley away on 28/4 that it was subject to rescheduling if City progressed to the CL semis on 30/4. I therefore thought Spurs game vs whu on 27/4 might be subject  of rescheduling.

How does Bournemouth come in to this Alfie?

Sometimes your on another planet, complain about what ? the Dutch FA postponing a round of games is nothing to do with Spurs so there is nothing to accept !

I think teams should just play their games as they fall. Spurs had a free week when City had to play a game before CL 1st leg. I can see Spurs quite rightly making a protest or an appeal to the PL but i doubt they'll get much joy. Does seem a bit unfair on Spurs but if your good enough then it won't matter anyway.

Can you ? not a chance, i don't even know why it's being discussed on here because no one at Spurs has even mentioned it being postponed as far as i'm aware, perhaps your getting mixed up with the Bournemouth game which hopefully will be moved.

  13. 7 hours ago, Kadilo said:

No need to postpone.  They keep telling me we are shi te and relegation fodder so they should be able to play their reserves and rest their main players no problem. Routine 3 points for them.

When I say reserves, I mean the likes of Kane if he’s fit.

Statistically he is our best chance of winning if he starts.

Anyhow, 3-2 believes the more games Spurs play closer together the better they play........and he’s as sharp as a razor so i think the fixture should stay as is.

Personally I'd rather win trophies and have a crap stadium than a great stadium and never win any trophies. Luckily we win trophies and have a great stadium; you don't  ????

How can we have won trophies in the new stadium, we only moved in last week ????

  17. 42 minutes ago, RonniePickering22 said:

Its undoubtedly the finest football stadium around now.

I'm looking forward to plenty more victories there this season....starting with threadbarely blue's lot next week.

No no stadium is rubbish, i would have rather had had a 2nd hand athletics stadium ????

Must admit lads, the stadium looks very impressive. And after all the arguing on here about how much over budget it was going to end up, beIN have stated the final cost was 1billion quid

No doubt BB will disagree with you as his last valuation was something like 1.2B or perhaps even 1.4B ????????

Possibly parts of Luton, or parts of East London?

I don't generally support ivor bigun's racist posts, but he's right in this case.

Mind you, the yobs in some nearby areas were just as bad ☹️.

Do you really think that Luton and parts of East London are the only places in the UK with a large Muslim population ?

    • There are almost no white residents to be found in Savile Town, Yorkshire
    • Last census found only 48 of 4,033 people living there were white British

Pre brexit vote   just over £2

    Now circa £ 3

Expect it post leave to cost nearer £4

    Ronnie how much in aus?

The price is 119 baht so why are you pricing everything in pounds, you live in Thailand don't you ?

Incidentally 119 baht was not just over 2 pounds pre brexit vote, something else you've got wrong.

    Anyway happy days ????
