Great post - I recall reading about the Dad. Fifteen year olds just don't go to Syria and join ISIS without some major support.

If the UK accepts her back, they are going to have to monitor her for the rest of her life. The people that helped her into the ISIS, could easily talk this sad case into something else; like a human IED, thats an Improvised explosive device

She has been their for 4 years so obviously well settled into their life style and happy as if she wasn't she would have tried to return home earlier, was listening to a guy on TV who said that now that they have lost, Isis are instructing their combatants to go back to the western world and cause chaos !

Yes I agree with them back the second leg should be straightforward.

If you get knocked out now after that performance and with an even stronger team it would be a disaster.

Straigtforward statement maybe but but he’s not publicly ruled out the possibility of mangong the likes of Madrid or United and the club won’t let him discuss it so it will remain.

You're a brummie that supports Liverpool....nuff said, run along.

Yeah but he started supporting when he was 5 years old, just woke up one day and thought i think i'll start supporting Liverpool today, obviously not a glory hunter ????

Blatant difference. You had a good team together for 4 years. Klopp team was 75% assembled last season and is now 100%. We sold major players to build the team so klopp a lot further down the road than pochetino in a much shorter space of time in terms of a complete team. I'm not discussing winning things with spurs cos as good as you performed last night you ain't winning nothing. Semis and 3rd.

Why don't you save your talking for when Klopp actually wins something ????

Was not backed properly until last season when we sold coutinho.

This year is 100% a klopp team.

Your team has been pretty much pochetino team from day 1. Big difference.

No it hasn't been Pochs team, how many of the current team did he buy ?

For the right price. And let's be clear everyone has a price and I can't see spurs holding onto Kane if 200m comes in. Clock is ticking on that kind if fee end of this or next season or that fee starts diminishing

So we are moving onto Kane now are we ? ???? ????

The statement is done for a reason and you should know this. It's called maximum value and is the specialty of your chairman. Same reason with the contract and the contracts likely include clauses with regards to public comments too.

The ultimate statement is signing a new contract so he isn't going anywhere unless the club want him too !

Credit where it’s due that was a tactical masterclass and some exceptional individual performances.

Once again Poch showed why he is one of the best and will continue to be linked with the likes of Madrid and United.

Stop wasting your time reading these links, he's going nowhere ????

I'm not advocating anything, just pointing out that the bookies are offering short odds on Brexit not happening. If that's the case the £ will rise.

Yep your saying the poster should take a gamble on the rates going higher due to Brexit not happening, that's exactly what playing the markets is ????????

And if Brexit falls through, which the bookies are giving short odds on, the £ will fly up again.

Anyone bringing in 800k baht now at 40 to the £ will be kicking themselves if they could have brought it in at 50 to the £ in a couple of months time.

I understand your logic but playing the money markets is always a risky game.

Brexit won't fall through, we leave on the 29th Mar 2019,

???????? That's exactly what your advocating the poster should do by suggesting he waits as it could reach 50 in a couple of months, incidentally there's no way in a million years it will be 50 in a few months so anyone listening to your advice will be kicking themselves even more.

I am sure that every one of the 3,200 will admit that playing in front of a half empty stadium, with home support as quiet as Tottenham’s, completely killed the atmosphere. Throw in the less than exciting football on show and the freezing weather conditions, it didn’t make for much of a spectacle.

Now I know the new stadium has been badly handled by Spurs, and their fans have a right not to be happy, but if only 41,000 can turn up to Wembley on a Saturday early kick off (with 3,200 being Toon fans) then how are they going to fill their new stadium?

    This is how :

    42,000 Season Ticket holders

    9,000 Corporate

    3,000 Away fans

8,000 Members tickets available to our 165,000 paid members per game.

Dele's back sooner, possibly for Dortmund.  But yes, the squad is good enough, not to win the title perhaps but good enough to have us sitting where we are right now and possibly causing the two clubs that are apparently competing for the title to have a little look over their shoulders.

Ofcourse, the best part of this is once again making Sky Sports and their anti Spurs bias look stupid again.  And Talksport  but to be fair they have always been clueless gobshites.

Obviously i do appreciate that TV posters know more about buying players than Harry !!!!!  ????

I think if they are honest most fans of clubs outside the top few will be envious of how well they are doing on a budget.

I do think that a lot of that comes down to the manager and you can tell the high esteem the players hold him in. I do fear that in some ways they may have peaked in terms of table position purely because they cannot or choose not to ( depending on how you view it ) compete with the big boys above in terms of salaries and amount they are willing to part with to enhance the squad. Ultimately where they are and Champions League qualification/ participation is a massive achievement on its own due to those reasons I believe.

Whether that will be enough for the fans and the manager longer term only they know but I’m sure there will be a longer term plan once the stadium is all done and dusted. These changes don’t happen overnight.

What frustrates fans more than anything is seeing your club showing no ambition or not having any sort of positive game plan going forwards or wasting cash willy nilly and going nowhere. Spurs aren’t doing that.

I liken it to a fat bastard who needs to lose a few kilos to get where they need to be. Some will exercise and set a target of a kilo a month, so will want to lose it all in that time so fast and starve then ultimately fail. Everyone knows for longevity you should do the former. My side tends to try and do the latter so you end up with players on inflated wages not really playing for the shirt and you wind up back to square one because they try and buy to achieve success too quick.

Sadly Ultimately its a results driven Business and not every team will be run by owners with patience hence the attempted smash and grab by some then sack the manager when it fails.

    Im waffling now

Bottom line maybe peaked for now but it ain’t a bad peak to have.

    Wanna swap ????

Been thinking for a while.. were short of  exp strikers and we aint bought anyone.. and jansen doin nothin sort of didnt totally add up..  apparently jansen was returned injured from his loan earlier this season  and  and for what ever reason  didnt return to the club  .. so we were left with a striker NOT in pochs  plans.. well common sence prevailed and he's not training with u23s, hes back training with the 1 st team squad and poch is now considering him for selection.. good news.. when he arrived IMO, he was never that bad .. att, a little raw and it  looked to me the  pressure of big move..  ect ect got to him a bit .. perhaps he's over that and possibly Llorente taken the pressure away of having to replace kane will help and . well sort of makes sence now sterlings gone out on loan   .. so we'll have to see.  but its a 'fresh'body upfront and that atm can only be a plus.

He was on loan last season not this season, had a minor operation in Aug 2018 after returning to the club and wasn't registered for either of the PL and Cl squads so he couldn't have played even if Poch had wanted him too.

Oh yes how could we forget Foden, City regular an all that!!

Unless we discussing Foden, and Christ have we discussed Foden, please don't discuss homegrown players, those deep inadequacies with start coming to the fore again.  ????

Remember, the only way to do it is buy big and any club that doesn't is tight fisted and not ambitious!!????

Perhaps that also refers to clubs that don't break the rules.

    Must have missed that ????
