  1. You can disable updates in setting menu, im sure if u google it u will find more info, but wiihack is great website as suggested.. especially as you will have to update stuff manually (wads) to get new games to work...

    Cheers

  2. Hi,

Download and install ccleaner, hijackthis and spybot search & destroy. Update virus definition in spybot its free.

Run ccleaner and reboot in safe mode (press f8 when booting up).

Run ccleaner again now that u r in safe mode. Now run hijackthis and it will show u anything in use in your pc (files-memory). Try to locate the virus and delete it but b careful if u delete wrong file it will b problem...

Now run spybot and reboot normally. Run hijack this and see if virus still showing..run again spybot to make sure....

If it doesnt wrk chech out 'geeks to go website' its pretty good..u can ask 4 help there...

    Cheers

  3. dootv.tv doesn't work for me. I tried US and FR proxy but it doesn't work. I wonder which country it does allow to stream?!

we use it from UK (that's where we live), which country are you in? (they have a US server and a UK one also). I'm not aware of any geo restrictions but you could give them a ring (it could be your ISP blocking it maybe?)

  4. Www.dootv.tv is the best site, absolutely awesome, they record and propose any programme on demand...

There are other free site, but dootv charge so little it's worth it. All u have to do is conect your pc to your tv and your wife will marry you again :-)

  5. Thanks for letting me know what I missed :crying:

No Eurosport here in the village as internet connection is not up to the streaming, no cable and have TRUE so no programming there.

Will be cancelling TRUE very shortly and moving over to ASTRO.

    Bonjour,

    U can get eurosport here:

They show le tour, u need to download a couple of software.

    Cheers

  6. Buy a sim card from 7/11 and send it by post to UK (top up and activate it first)...

Then get the person in UK to get free sim from e.g O2 website or Vodafone and send it to u as well after activating it..

You will then be able to text the Thai sim in the UK at local rate and the person in UK can do the same....:-)

The trick is there is no charge to receive sms when u r abroad...

Quite long winded but if u text a lot its worth it...

    Cheers

This is nonsense. The person in the UK will pay a 'Roaming' rate to send a text message to Thailand if they use a Thai SIM in the UK. For instance, 'roam' in the UK with a DTAC SIM on Vodaphone; it will cost you 12 baht plus 7% Vat to send a message back to Thailand.

I dont think he meant to use the sims to send messages, they are only to receive. To send use another local SIM. e.g. If sending from UK, send sms from another UK number to the UK sim thats in thailand so you get local rates.

This is correct, of course you then use another UK sim to txt the UK sim and another Thai sim to txt the Thai sim.

In UK u can get unlimited free txt when u top up 10 pounds...(t-mobile)...

A UK sim does not get charged to reveive sms when abroad..
