  1. I wonder what started this? They even managed to disturb the ubiquitous sleeping fleabag at the doorstep.
  2. I finally got the youtube video I tried to embed at the OP. Pasted the URL and it gave me the embed....🙂 Now I'm looking for another vid about isolating the spy chip.
  3. I've never paid much attention to articles about Win 11. I am very, very interested now as I will have to buy a new laptop this year. The alternative OS would still allow the 'spy chip' to operate would it not? <iframe width="1265" height="712" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/noaYSy-vKOo?list=WL" title="The Windows 11 Crisis Explained Like You&#39;re 5" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share" referrerpolicy="strict-origin-when-cross-origin" allowfullscreen></iframe>
  4. And yet another cowardly thumbs down? The red thumb downers .... .used by the illiterate and a great tool for the spiteful. 😉
  5. quote ' Just an observation on a couple of Pattaya streets.' Soi Siam is not Pattaya😊 Unique indeed in Pattaya family resort ! Pattaya= Literally walking in the gutter, amongst dog<deleted> and stinking bins as there is no provision for pedestrian lo-sos and feelthy tourists. Navigating into the middle of the road due to obstructive tables, chairs, plantpots, parked vehicles, platic cones, and aggressive attitudes. It's especially exciting at the 1metre gap where the speed bumps barely meet the gutter - where our hosts on wheels get to make you jump out of the way as they threaten to run you down. Good sport....Just watch them falang chickens having to run across the main roads. That safe gap suddenly gets filled by the moron motorbikers at Mach 9 Not to mention the optional one way systems where you have to make way or suffer an injury. Okay rant over.. I'm off to sit on bench seat under the trees in one of the many public parks. Maybe I'll use a use the public toilet on the way......oh wait....
  6. For rock fans..... 'Springsteen Deliver Me' the digital version is now available also 'Spinal Tap ii The End Continues' both onboard the pirate ship.
  7. You may like to try Devonshire Restaurant and Guest House 0n Soi Lengkee. There are Taylors Yorkshire teabags (big boxes) on display..... however price unknown.
  8. Been going to Big C on Pattaya Klang since it first opened as Carrefour. A notable first this week as my receipt was printed in English.
  9. Maybe it's because I'm retired and live in Nongprue, but what have people got against getting up and about at 6am? Enjoy the beautiful early morning with a walk, jog or bike for an hour ....sets you up for the day. As mentioned, go to the small shops for buying alchol as they don't have time stamped receipts. As for 4am partying? Been there - done it in Euroland, most people need drugs or waste time of an evening until going out around midnight. Mainly, if there were functioning authorities party zoning would please everyone.
  10. City hall should just remove the pavements/sidewalks from Soi Buakkhao to enable free flowing traffic.
  11. Beware of real estate salesmen in Pattaya posing as 'helpful' friendly posters.
  12. ' Effective June 27, sales will only be allowed during specific hours: from 11am to 2pm, and from 5pm to midnight' Does that include beer bars? The Ayatollahs are in control now?
  13. Luvvly jubbly geeza - Danny Dyer plays a parody of himself. A laugh of a movie to watch.... whilst waiting for some thing else to come on.
  14. This is good talent. Worth a watch with clever twists in the story.
  15. Here are a couple of movies I found watchable. Flight Risk seemed so-so but takes off when Mark E Mark appears. Babygirl has Nicole Kidman for eye candy.
  16. People will continue to fill in the digital TM 6 with information that will not be checked. So how is it helping the authorities? We used to describe the data from computers as 'garbage in garbage out'
  17. TM6 Is there a photocopy machine on arrival? How many signed copies to they need?
  18. Not much info from Imdb..........so here's my take......... A great festive binge. Filmed over 10 years with12 seasons = 65 x45min of individual dramas. Set in NW England with optional English subtitles (regional accents). Some episodes are written for wimmen', but all are watchable with the family. No gun battles, no cops 'n' robbers, no corrupted governments or police, no car chases, no swearing, no nudity, no mafias, no cartels, no CIA, no gangstas, no bro's in da hood selling crack and no computer generated tricks. Just acting skills using well known British actors. Available from seeder named .BONE (galaxy & tpb) 19.4 Gb. Happy New Year.
  19. Well who knows how many tourists were ever/never arrested? Only someone connected to the authorities would have that info.
  20. With the exception of Buddha days, there is always beer available at Pattaya beach. The problem is do you pay the vendors 50% more to get served a large bottle, with a glass and a bucket of ice ? Or, do as the Thais and buy everything from 7/11. I've seen the vendors go ballistic when the foreign tourists dares to brings his own. As an aside, I remember there were strict laws about lighting up fags a few years back (huge fines & imprisonment). Now annoyingly, people smoke everywhere, with toxic clouds under the umbrellas when there is no breeze. Life used to be simple in Pattaya.
