  1. "I think the bottom line is pretty much all of us dog lovers have the image of a very distinct looking dog when we hear the name Jack Russell. The father of your pups is that image. The mother isn't."

ok great well this is all cleared up, thank you for enlightening me on everyone's opinion. I do believe I'll let this rest as I have no desire to get up to 2700 posts

  2. Some interesting information taken from wiki:

The Jack Russell Terrier is a small, principally white-bodied, smooth- or rough-coated terrier that has its origins in fox hunting. The name "Jack Russell" has been used over the years to describe a wide array of small white terriers, but now after a drawn-out legal battle, the JRTCA (Jack Russell Terrier Club of America) and its affiliates have won the exclusive rights to use the name Jack Russell Terrier to describe their particular variant of the dog, in the US. Commonly confused with the Parson Russell Terrier -- the AKC and affiliate variant -- and the Russell Terrier (a shorter legged, stockier variety), the working Jack Russell Terrier is a unique terrier which has been preserved in working ability as well as appearance much as it existed over 200 years ago.

Call them Parson Russel or Jack Russels, whatever you like. Both of these still don't have a consistent look about them compared to other breeds.

  3. I was looking at some Jack's for sale in the UK, the breed really has a quite varied look.

That's what happens when you cross-breed.

yes I think we all pretty much have heard of cross-breeding, but thank you for your effort of enlightenment

The reason i stated the obvious was because your comment about the breed having a varied look suggested you were unaware. The breed doesn't have much variation in look, but cross-bred Jack Russell pups do.

I believe the breed does have a varied look, here are a few examples. But anyways, thanks for sharing your opinion.

  4. Frankly I was interested in knowing the demand. It's often done in sales. However the price is now stated, and as I said we would lower them if not sold.

If the potential buyer does not care to be contacted for a possible price reduction in the next few days, there is no need to call.

    Thank's again for everyone's interest.

  5. I posted our phone number, and we have no problem telling the price. The world works by "Supply and Demand", I'm sorry if the price is not within your budget.

If we don't sell these 3 we will lower the prices, but right now we have people interested. There's no reason to get upset, there are plenty of places to buy puppies

    that are cheaper.

  6. here is the mom, true hunter this one.. always looking for the next kill, not as much personality as the father but the pups look more like the father

good response from the post, thanks to all, prices are a bit high since there is a high demand, please call for info

  7. If you are looking for a good guard dog and great companion with lots of personality, we have 3 Jack Russel puppies for sale. The father is one of the most amazing dogs I have owned in my life. Father loves to swim and play fetch, great guard dog, and lots of personality. Puppies look very intelligent, already playing with the ball and respond well.

Please call 0861085151 for more info

  8. Hi daveb1, yes a VPN connection, be it OpenVPN or a regular PPTP connection will work without your router. Some people use a Linksys router and flash it with DD-WRT so they can have multiple PC's on one VPN connection. To do this you will need a router that works with DD-WRT ( http://www.dd-wrt.com for a approve hardware list) and you will need to "flash" the firmware. All this sounds complicated but it's not that bad.

I suggest http://www.strongvpn.com they have UK and USA IP's and very fast connectivity.

So just to conclude, the router has nothing to do with your VPN account. Actually sometimes it can cause it not to work if it's blocking GRE packets or a port 1723

  9. Why do my posts always create some controversy? Here are my 2 cents. With spam there's no hiding. I personally use a gmail

account as there is no spam filter known to man, other then Gmails, that can handle my accounts. I am very grateful to them.

Spelling it out like he did prevents any scripts from picking it up, so the forum rules probably allow this?

I found a place on Thepasit road, I have a meeting on Monday. I'll report back on what they presented.

Thanks for all that offered information so far!

  10. I'm looking for a quality builder in Pattaya, someone that can show a sketch of a finish product

and deliver it. Something like this

    post-6358-1190303005_thumb.jpg

I'm not sure of the material they use to make these, but I think it's a cement board of some type. Here's

a site here that says its waterproof and fireproof. They talk about having it finished to match the site which

    is my desire too.

I already have the BBQ, and a gas top. Just need a good company to construct the top. Any help appreciated.

  11. Moving into my new house soon and want to fit it out with a home entertainment system.Anyone have any recomdations as to which shop is the best and most reputable place to find lcd T.V's, music systems, come and set it all up to my specifications etc etc.?

    Thanks

Numchai is ok as others say but I was a little let down with their selection of Stereo Equipment. If you want a standard packaged Flat Screen and Home

theater Numchai is great. Way better then Powerbuy or anywhere else, the guys can install with no problems.

But if you are looking to setup a home stereo with speakers in multiple locations, maybe with the ability of a selector switch for those locations and

independent volume nobs and all the goodies. I found that the company that is currently in Siam Paragon Department Store, near all the dishes

and other appliances.. are good. They are doing a install soon for me.

They had at least 4 different kinds of outdoor speakers, 10 different kinds of really nice indoor bookshelf speakers and everything else. They will

come to Pattaya and install for a small fee extra.

I'll try to edit the post later with my contacts info.

  12. another hater.. ok thats fine.. I would think there would not be so many narrow minded individuals on this board.. but then again

usually they are the most vocal... so it's not that surprising

see other threads on this topic, plenty of voters for fox news

Can someone please find me Fox News ( The best news channel on the face of the Earth) on a small satellite dish provider? :o

  13. Nope, not in this case, sorry. Not a hater, just exposing brainwashed propaganda-TV for what it is. Respect the truth.

I mean, Fox news isn't even hiding the fact that it has words and phrases for the day, the week, and the month, things that get repeated over and over again across all programs in order to "deliver the message". If you watch Fox regularly, you can play a game of "guess the message". I am sure it will be rather easy to discover.

I am not saying that Fox gets paid by someone, they spread propaganda and lies to "help the cause" all by themselves, and in their very own interest.

I'd like an example of "phrase of the day"

and yes, you are a "hater" There's no reason to "hate" Fox News for the way they deliver their content. It's America and everyone owns a Remote Control

and has free will. Turn the channel, but as I said before.. don't be a "hater".

Can someone please find me Fox News ( The best news channel on the face of the Earth) on a small satellite dish provider? :o

  14. Their coverage is fine IMO. There's no problem with watching Fox News, it's entertaining and informative.. period. Yes of course there is "political hyperbole and sensationalism", that's my problem with CNN and BBC, their lack thereof. Their newscasters are so <deleted> boring, I might as well read the newspaper. Their plain suits, and plain personalities. Larry Kings ancient set from the 1960's. It's so old, and their talking heads are so boring. Fox news, whatever opinions they might interject into a story, is just better news and better producing of it.

If I'm really worried they are not fair on a coverage of a particular story there's always somewhere else to get it.

Anyways this discussion always happens when someone mentions Fox news, someone always says the same thing.. "soapbox yadda". Right.. we all

know there are those that feel this way.

Can someone please find me Fox News on a small satellite dish provider? :o
