Can someone give some suggestions on the better quality plugins that might actually work here in TH?

If you have my MX Thai added ( you will have this already have installed fusion at http://fusion.tvaddons.ag (used to be fusion.xbmchub.com)) also add the add-on installer(found under programs) and from there (add-on installer) add the following to get you started;

Movies - add genesis

TV/Sport - add Sportsdevil (in here you will find everything you mentioned above under Sportsdevils>LiveTV>ILive >then select from the lists)

TV/Sport - add my MX BBC Player (direct to the beeb)

TV/Sport - add FTV Guide and FTV (all the free UK TV 30 odd channels of it)

Simply download my MX BBC Player for the beeb, it works on on a 2mbis connection and on true (this is why it was written)

xbmc works well on the Mac and I would suggest you get xbmc version 13.2 (Gotham) download it here http://xbmc.org/download/

As to how to's youtube is full of them but search for the Mac ones

that is a shame - as it works here, maybe you have a internet set up issue anyway it translate to http://tv.australiaplus.com/tuning

as in from my NAS with the driectory called TV which serves 8 M8 boxes it looks like this on each box (one screen dump shows the NAS path to its TV directory)

Use the DIR call TV and in the metadata settings select TV Shows and when it is loaded (the metadata) it will create a new menu for you (in some cases you have to turn the menu on)

CCM found on xbmc.org is one of the best as you can make any menu you like, i.e an under 10yrs old menu system, another for you and the wife, and make an over 80 year old menu (as I did for my folks both in their late 80's) It is up to you as you wish to configure it / customise it.

A truly universal parental control that works with all videos either played from your library or streamed via addons. It is built to work with all addons without the need for developers to make any changes to their play function.

Please read the help files to see how to set it up. Once installed you may need to reboot XBMC as the control runs as a service. You can set it up via the Program Addons sections.
You can exclude any addon from PC, add custom ratings if none are found and even configure the control via popups if PC cannot derive the movie/show name.

True has been doing a network upgrade on docsis for the last 3 weeks according to their technical staff, something their help desk is not communicating to us.

So I tested to Singapore and got;

Yes it is the same thing, so for the m3u file (1) you can make your own and customise it to what you want only (2) get one off the net (google helps) or (3) get one from the many on xbmc.org or like web sites

For the EPG you will need to also make your own to match your m3u list for the Thai time zone (the pvr does not hadle time zones well in the EPG) and it is all outlined how to do it on this link http://www.webgrabplus.com/documentation then you will need to run that EPG grabber at least once every 24-48 hours to update the PVR.

For the icons - again you will need to make your own group of channel icons (more help on xbmc.org) (I simply never bothered to do this)

Then you will want a xbmc skin the behaves well with the PVR/EPG and I would recommend the CCM skin on xbmc.org

It depends on what source in what add-ons you use for example;

All have different sources for CNBC

You did ask for the whole gambit.

You only need the ones from me (jonc which are all free including the mx rte player) and F.T.V from kinkin (free also) so there is no need what so ever to pay for any subscription as all that can be found else where and for free

I like especially the external antenna. in case the wifi range is in doubt, then I could pop in a long extension. I did a bad job in planning my wifi location.

You could always use a power over ethernet (POE) device(s), leaves wifi for dead inside any property up to100m from your modem router via your mains power, I use the Asus ones (tp ones pictured below) and streams 4k well off youtube to via the M8 set top box.

If i install this version, will it install over my gotham 13.2 version?

This is simply the replace web address for xbmchub.com so you install nothing in xbmc with it just use it to find all your stuff and help.

The fusion replacement should have auto updated in your xbmc already if you had it installed to http://fusion,tvaddons.ag if not add it and select what you want from it. It will not over write anything.
