I know the subject does not belong here but there's no way to post a question in the right forum Is the hearing problem. I'm trying to help a friend. This is to say I don't understand thing about the matter. He is wearing hearing aid, of course but doesn't like to go out anymore to restaurants and similar because the surrounding noise is too much. I would have sought in the time of noise canceling earphones that shouldn't be a problem anymore. Can you enlighten me please and perhaps suggest the latest technology?

Can noise cancelling headphones handle something like sudden 7 burst of drilling noise. The off / on was be hard to handle even for electronics. I like classical music but iat my age the high notes are anyhow no longer distinguishable. Looking for medium quality of course at a bargain price
