A lot of sausage company's use collagen casings which you can eat but not for me. sometimes company's use a plastic casing that you should not eaten, natural casing are the best from sheep or pig. We use natural casings as they are the original way to make a traditional sausage. Rob/sk

My understanding is that the committee's only power is to call meetings etc. and monitor as described - also visa status is an issue I understand. The JP, as elected, is the only one who has to sign cheques, letters etc. - not committee members. He/she can refuse to sign, for instance... and the committee can only 'suggest' and 'recommend'. It's strange that the advice you received is opposite.

The JPM acts on behalf of the jp...within the law and performing the will of the JP. The commitee members individuall cannot act only the JPM can but the JP can be replaced at any time by the comitte if he does not follow its wishes. TAhe JPM would also be legally responsible if he failed to do so.

This is much the same as a westerncompany. The shareholders cannot intervene in a comany and give instructions to the staff. The Manager does so. within the limits of his powers given by the company board. The instructions are conveyed by the Managing Director who has pwer to act for the company. Indiviual Board members cannot give instructions to company employees but they can act as a commitee to replace the Manager or the shareholders can act to relace the Managing Director.

I thought that a Thai drivers license WAS the ASEAN license, in the sense that a Thai drivers license was an acceptable license to drive in ASEAN countries. It goes both ways. A Vietnam license is acceptable here, etc etc. I may be wrong...

I understand the Thai licence (5 year) is an Asean one. However not all ASEAN countries have signed the document permitting their use in their country. Check first.

This is not actually true if you consider a ramp to be a self assisted construction as in the west. Many hotels do have ramps at the front door but this will generally be a 45 DEGREE construction to haul suitcases up. They will assist you but they are generally unuited to power wheelchairs or to independent use. May places have small steps mayby only one to enter facilities or get to the counter..not navigatable independently. Accessibility in Thailand has a long way to go but people are much more willing to assist you than n the west.

You will not find too many special wheelchair facilities except at all the supermarkets. You will find that people are willing to helpo and it is not rare for four people to carry you and your wheelchair up two floors of stairs so you can get in.

I suggested that board because it gave you a big upgrade path and a lot of life. eg fast sata USB3 and lots of memory options. If it was me I would probably have to settle with lower processor and memory specs but sneak them in ovedr time. Much less suspicion then. Leads to a quieter life.

If you are not a gamer you could get adequate performance for less than that. But I suggest including a new case and power supply and even get a better quality power supply.

A video card can be anything but I would say 5000baht is much more than adequate if you are not a gamer.

My suggestion would be this board and and equip it as you want now and you can always upgrade to more or better procesors and memory or graphics as you see fit. This should give a system useable for a few years.
