  1. EU left-liberal mafia is trying it's best to get rid the one and only French whistle-blower who dares to speak the truth.

leftism: "instead of changing the ideology according real life - just shut those who speak the truth up"

    how predictable.

One more time you don t understand sh.t about her or obviously do not know her program, other wise you, as a far liberal defensor, would spit on her program

what I know about her is that she is the one and only who defend her country from Muslim invasion. the one and only in France.

And I support this completely, because I like France and don't want the German fate for it.

Germans deserve to be eliminated by Muslims, but French don't. Let Germans to commit suicide alone.

and after (if) France will be saved from modern barbarity - French people will have a possibility to decide either they like her program or not.

Germans deserve to be eliminated by Muslims

would you care to elaborate on that?

I think Timmy hiding behind his keyboard with panties on his head:)

  2. Yamaha really needs to get their act together in the marketing of their bikes. It took them years to get a competitor to the PCX and this is the best they can do? First the Tricity failed and this bike may go the same way.

All yamaha had to do was put on the same size tires as the PCX, make the tank almost as big and put a cheap usb plug on the bike and they would have a legitimate contender. Instead they put 13 inch low profile tires, skip the charger and make the tank smaller.

Yamaha has variable valve timing and ABS which is excellent but they will lose out on the other shortcomings.

I am sure this is a pretty good bike buy marketing wise they will have problems denting Honda's share with this formula.

  3. So lets put this in perspective. Saudi Arabia, the US and Israel back rebel groups and possibly ISIS to overthrow Assad in Syria and this creates millions of refugees which are on their way to Germany and other European countries not involved in the overthrow of Assad. Anyone see anything wrong with this scenario?

  4. So apparently you don't have to be crazy to support Trump. Good to know!crazy.gif

From a psychological perspective, though, the people backing Trump are perfectly normal. Interviews with psychologists and other experts suggest a simple explanation for the candidate's success -- and for the collective failure to anticipate it: The political elite hasn't confronted a few fundamental, universal and uncomfortable facts about the human mind.

    http://www.washingtonpost.com/news/wonkblog/wp/2015/10/15/i-asked-psychologists-to-analyze-trump-supporters-this-is-what-i-learned/

What Trump represents really is a desire by Americans to regain control of their government. They believe the majority have lost control of the government and special interest groups have hijacked their agenda. They are basically correct. People are fed up and want change. Governments are more often defeated than elected and this is really about defeating what they see as a corrupt process.

  5. Well Scott Adams of Dilbert fame sees something different in Trump. He's running circles around the MSM - he's attuned to his voting base to the point where he can say the exact words in their brains (this borders on non-supernatural telepathy) - he's a master at negotiation and what Adams calls "verbal judo." I thought Obama was like this too - the behavior of his pack bordered on irrational as far as I could see but he mastered them, raising $600M in email campaigns (Trump won't have to do this). Adams says Trump is such a "verbal judo wizard" that he is going to win, and build that "big, beautiful, powerful wall."

    ...

Yeah, that's a brilliant video and I think he's spot on about Trump's masterful manipulation skills which are also of course extremely entertaining. But I can't agree that he's going to win the presidency. The nomination, maybe. I wonder if people who do support Trump seeing that video would be inclined to change their minds if they realized how skillfully they were being tricked. Sure all politicians play games ... but history shows such masters as Trump can turn out to be very tragic for the nations that fall under the wizard's spell.

I could only hope voters can see the trickery in Hillary as her cup runnneth over with it.

  6. The shudder is the result of dust and glazing of the clutch in my opinion. It will likely develop after a number of kms. What works albeit temp is to hold the front brake (or combo brake) and rev it while stationary. It will likely be ok for awhile.

As for buying anything send your thai gal ALONE. You will get about one half the cost in most instances. Double pricing and easy money are rampant in Thailand.

  7. So THB 9k a month in rent for a studio or shoe box size condo, I'll pass in favour of having a life and some space.

My landlord would be most offended. 46 sqm studio, fully furnished, good location, river view, swimming pool. I do have a life. I choose to spend my money on different things to you. Perhaps you just need the space for your ego.

It's not about ego it's about the practicalities of life. My condo rent in Muang (Floral) was 22k a month for 150 sq metre, 2 bed/2 bath, centrally located. A year ago I bought a great house, seven years old, 180 sq metres on one rai with the most beautiful gardens you could wish for, the cost was 3 mill. When I die my wife gets the house, that gives us both peace of mind, if I continued to rent she would just get cash. More importantly, the house and garden gives us both huge satisfaction and provides for a series of projects that keep me fit and busy - the cost of our electricity consumption has fallen from an average 1,900 a month to just over 1,000 and our water from 600 a month to 200, similar savings have presented themselves as a result of not living in Muang. I have never been more fit and healthy and we have never been as happy.

Nothing wrong if the owner can afford it and sees it as a retirment scheme or in lieu of rent but those who argue it is a better INVESTMENT than renting at current conditions are mistaken and those that feel they are building EQUITY may be sadly mistaken if things go rocky and the home is not in their name.

  8.

McCain: a RINO to the core; a pathetic political turncoat who took a dive in the election that gave the U.S. its Islamic operative prez.

"In an interview with CNN, McCain, who is head of the Senate Armed Services Committee" should have titled "In an interview with CNN, McCain, who is head of the US face of Syrian Rebels/AQ/al Nursa." McCain surely meets the definition of a "poster child" for al Nursa/AQ folks in Syria. This is not a slander, it is a fact, any commentary regarding McCain on this issue should primarily note his deep relations and neocon machinations to cause this whole debacle. There are more photographs of McCain with al Nursa/AQ operatives than nearly every other American on earth.

Senator John McCain is a loyal American, a distinguished war veteran, chairman of the Senate Armed Services Committee that oversees the Pentagon, the 2008 (unsuccessful) nominee of the Republican party for POTUS. While one who seldom agrees with Sen McCain can criticise him, there is no reason whatsoever to doubt him.

  9. Seems like there's always a demand for new build condos, so the older ones will become deserted at some point.

The older ones are more affordable. The deserted ones will be those smaller units within large developments, all those fancy sales offices and funky models scheduled for completion in 2017 (18/19) that have prices off the chart.

Who in their right mind can predict a sustainable demand for fancy one bed shoeboxes looking for 25,000 a month when the local salary is half of that.

Russian rubles gone home, yuan deflated and a cranky pm tickling the US.

It will be an interesting couple of years ahead.

I have mentioned before about the myth that Thais buy only new, even when prices are much higher than old units.

They do so because they can get close to a 100% mortgage for new property, against only 50-60% mortgage for old units.

The current banking climate it is not going to sustain that myth for long.

It's more like 30% deposit required however....made this enquiry about a month ago. Took the bank 4 weeks to do their background check, at which stage the application was withdrawn.

Don't bet on it I know a Thai gal with a car payment making 40k per month just bought a 4 million baht house no money down.

  10. The same country is complaining about diesel-engine emissions on non-American cars. When does anybody tell the Yankees to mind their own business - there is plenty of unfinished in that category left for generations to come .....

    attachicon.gif1623507_889127357821971_2739282126253369172_n.jpg

Sadly more hypocrisy. Diesel trucks long exempt from pending standards and accounting for much more pollutants than autos ever have.

  11. I believe the airblade will get around 37 km/liter if driven reasonably (not full throttle all the time) and the pcx around 45 or so. The airblade does have a small tank which leads many to believe it gets worse mileage than it does. If you get the fuel injected airblade you should get around 40 km/liter.

  12. I paid a return visit to 'New Your Style Burger and Steak' on Sukhumvit 22 the other day....

I had the Brooklyn Burger (450 baht I think)... I'm now left with little doubt - its the best Burger I've had in Bangkok - everything about it was spot on.

The meat was excellent... I had burger in Firehouse last week, the meat was of questionable quality with a little gristle.

The Staff and both partners were excellent and made me and my 1.5 year old son who were on a 'boys night out' (to give mom a break) were made to feel extremely welcome.

This restaurant now has my No.1 Ranking for Burgers in Bkk.

AUD$18. Wow, Bangkok sure is getting expensive. Pretty much the price you would pay at a good steakhouse in Sydney.

It has the quality you would expect at the price....good value for money.

Yup Bkok seems to be on par with LA for prices in the food category for Western food. Actually LA is probably cheaper. 450 baht way too much for a burger joint in Bkok.

You must be from Australia if you think these prices are good. No offense intended.

  13. This was Boehner's last hurray (cry) in front of the media, so of course he was going to throw the GOP under the bus... Boehner was about to lose his role as Speaker of the House through opposition in his own party due to his kowtowing to Democrats on every major issue for years... With this knowledge, he fell on his sword and is taking a last swipe at the party that gave him the power and lined his pockets... This is not the first time he was due to lose this role in the House, with the last time ending with him gaining enough Democratic votes to save his Speakership...

The GOP and their base has been incensed with the leadership of the GOP party in both the House and the Senate since the Nov 2014 mid-term elections, when GOP candidates ran on a platform of opposing Democratic initiatives... This platform handed the majority of both houses of Congress to the GOP... After the elections, both Boehner and McConnell have usurped those objectives and have bent over on every major issue proposed by the Democrats... The base is pissed and this is the result... A member of the GOP leadership has already called for McConnell to resign too...

Call them angry if you like, but I would be pissed too if I elected someone to Congress or the Senate, only to have them do the exact opposite of what they promised to do... But isn't that what all politicians do?

    Excellent post.

  14. The United States was 'great' in the closing days of World War II when all Americans pulled together to defeat a World threat. President Roosevelt co-operated with the British; Australians and the Soviet Union to defeat a regime that was as racist and narcissistic as can be imagined. My father spent 4 years in the US Marine Corps fighting in the Pacific, while my mother worked 12 hours a day in an airplane factory. I am sure many Brits and other nations have similar .stories. American society was one in which neighbor helped neighbor and was like that into the 60's. What went wrong was a lessening of ethics; the schools stopped teaching ethics and morals and God was banned from the classroom. At the same time economic materialism became in vogue which has created a huge imbalance in wealth in the United States. Everyone in the family had to go to work to survive. Greed was viewed as being good and consumerism replaced a belief in a greater Power. At the same time huge amounts of money were being spent on the military and the military industrial complex gained great influence and power. Now we have so called politicians who have forgotten how America developed and why at one time America was a 'great place to live. I don't want to use the term great country because other countries are also great.

Then we had the tragedy of 9/11 and the resultant paranoia where Americans see terrorists behind every door. The government reaction was to open a concentration camp in Cuba and violate the rights of every American by passing the Patriot Act (a misnomer if I have heard one) and then use the NSA and CIA against its own citizens, all in the name of internal security.

The interloper Donald Trump uses the slogan-make America great again- what he really means is make business great again for he and his partners. He could care less about the middle class and poor in America. I could go on and on but the bottom line is that the dream my mother and father fought to save, is in grave danger and there appears no one out there that can save the dream.

Some of your points are good ones but you failed to include mass immigration and the subsequent movement away from the "melting pot" that made America great where everyone shared a common language and a common goal and upheld the constitution and laws of the nation.

In short, a shapshot in time, nothing more. A time the rightwingers found far more agreeable than the present going forward.

The tenuous and tentative among us who so easily suffer nostalgia need to release their death grip on the romanticised past. Push their face into water and ice cubes then walk confidently in to a new future of a new kind of greatness. Adapt or perish cause life and the world are constantly moving on to the next development. Lead, follow, or get out of the way.

That sounds like a stump speech. There is nothing romantic about low unemployment, balanced budgets, a strong manufacturing base, managed immigration, etc. If you actually look at it America has always been better off with tariffs. Yet the politicians and corporations have sold out America to allow China to displace American and European jobs with no care whatsoever to human rights or the environment or even dumping of products. Is this the future you are so eager to embrace?

  15. To be honest both parties suck but what the data fails to tell is that in many cases democrat governments are more apt to run deficits so that prosperity is often just borrowed. Secondly some of the states are simply just poorer due to lack of industry, investment resources etc. At one time these states may have been quite well off. To take a statistic like yours and try to use it in an argument with any background reasons or proof just doesn't work.
