Police bust swinging party, arrest 13 foreign men

BANGKOK: -- Police raided a swinging party in a Bangkok hotel late Wednesday night and arrested 13 foreign men, seven Thai women and three foreign women.

The raid took place at 0:15 am Thursday at the Elizabeth Hotel on Praditpat Road in Samsen district.

Police also arrested a couple - Christian Richards and his Thai wife, for allegedly organising the swinging sex tour.

When police raided the room No 1101 on the 11th floor of the hotel, police found several couples were having sex in the same room while others were drinking and dancing.

Police found used condoms, lubricant gel, porno books and CDs and 30 pills of Viagra.

You are incorrect. In Australia there IS such a thing as self defence, it is a one of the ' statutory defences' to the charge of 'Assault'. Actually chasing someone down with a Machette is not part of self defence.

If you were backed into a corner, with no option for escape & were in fear of being assaulted by someone, you have every right in the world to defend yourself. If you have other options it would be wise to use them first. (I don't know if that applies here in Thailand).

Bangers in the country you quoted Self-defense is defined as the legal use of force when a person believes it is absolutely necessary to prevent injury or death to his person.

There are also other statutory defences against assault, can you guess what they are?

It is quite hard to be respectful when 2 to 4 times a month I had to stop what I was doing, get dressed, run down a couple flights of stairs and opened the door to JWs but my "no thanks" was still reluctantly respectful. This was back in NY.

Cancelling the "get dressed" part before you opened the door would also be usefull for keeping them away.

My mate instantly stripped off & when the knock on the door came, he opened it, standing there in all his glory.."He announced, "Thank god you've finally arrived, come in take your gear off the orgies already started". Whilst he did that he gave himself a little bit of a rub.

Anyway, needless to say they left in a hurry and it was a long time before I saw them in the street again & when they did finally return they hurried past his place as if the antichrist himself resided there.

1985 glenparva's young offenders institution in leicestershire , england, there a programe of reformation headed by a brilliant young lady called doctor Judith Mackenzie( has anyone ever heard of her and knows her current where about, she was the lady who helped secure jimmy boyle his freedom)- a credit to the human race was proving a great success( as it did with mr boyle who now heads an exellent anti drugs programe in scotland, england for the youth centre's)

One young lad was making the sincere efforts for a postive life, like many this poor young lad was abandon at birth, sent from orphanage to foster homes, etc...

Someone pressed a silent alarm to call security.

The heavys came in, he had no idea what had happened ( because this alarm was the silent) one gaurd asked him something like ' where is the probem'? he smiled and said something like ' all over the place mate"

they pounced on him, whilst not hitting him heavily, they really roughed him up with kicks and martial art type locks and , how to say, made an old injury worst.

He had still no idea what was going on.. and asked "why are you doing this.." it was a horrible sight...and what a lesson to teach someone young man trying to turn his life around.

Later, in order to justify what happened he was charged with attempting to attack an officer ( I could not give evidence or I would risk lossing my pass to enter, already we were not welcome as we were seen anti- establishment,pro-criminal, although we have helped put away far more realy guilty than helped innocent ones go free).I still intended to though if he was found guilty in court,where was I...

The trial was set, this lad was told he may get added sentence, he had apx 6 plus gaurds all saying the same thing.At the last minute the case was dropped and he let go the next day.

This was becaue one gaurd did the one thing that makes me have faith in this world, he went against what was good for him, he practiced what he preached,he had the courage, the integrity to do what is RIGHT-he was a JW. Some of the other gaurds who were lieyng were COE ( the english church) and even attended sunday worship.

- he spoke the truth and refused to add his name to the others gaurds lie's.He spoke to the governer and said what really happened.The governer faced with such an embarassment stopped everything.

This gentleman had to move from this area as the other gaurds was nasty to him,smeared feces no his locker...

I asked him why he did this.He smiled and said

' I can lie to anyone, but I can never lie to Him' pointing to the heavan's.

I suspect that all those who have posted anti JW stuff here because they knock on doors( yes, it can be annoying, but all you have to do is not answer)

would still pray that this sort of man was around if they faced this horrible incident.

The young lad said that this man, Mr Birch his name was, had resored his faith in everyone.

I certainly do not subscribe to what they say- but I salute anyone who in the face of such oppostion does the right thing.

One young lad was making the sincere efforts for a postive life, like many this poor young lad was abandon at birth, sent from orphanage to foster homes, etc...

Someone pressed a silent alarm to call security.

The heavys came in, he had no idea what had happened ( because this alarm was the silent) one gaurd asked him something like ' where is the probem'? he smiled and said something like ' all over the place mate"

they pounced on him, whilst not hitting him heavily, they really roughed him up with kicks and martial art type locks and , how to say, made an old injury worst.

He had still no idea what was going on.. and asked "why are you doing this.." it was a horrible sight...and what a lesson to teach someone young man trying to turn his life around.

Later, in order to justify what happened he was charged with attempting to attack an officer ( I could not give evidence or I would risk lossing my pass to enter, already we were not welcome as we were seen anti- establishment,pro-criminal, although we have helped put away far more realy guilty than helped innocent ones go free).I still intended to though if he was found guilty in court,where was I...

The trial was set, this lad was told he may get added sentence, he had apx 6 plus gaurds all saying the same thing.At the last minute the case was dropped and he let go the next day.

This was becaue one gaurd did the one thing that makes me have faith in this world, he went against what was good for him, he practiced what he preached,he had the courage, the integrity to do what is RIGHT-he was a JW. Some of the other gaurds who were lieyng were COE ( the english church) and even attended sunday worship.

- he spoke the truth and refused to add his name to the others gaurds lie's.He spoke to the governer and said what really happened.The governer faced with such an embarassment stopped everything.

This gentleman had to move from this area as the other gaurds was nasty to him,smeared feces no his locker...

I asked him why he did this.He smiled and said

' I can lie to anyone, but I can never lie to Him' pointing to the heavan's.

I suspect that all those who have posted anti JW stuff here because they knock on doors( yes, it can be annoying, but all you have to do is not answer)

would still pray that this sort of man was around if they faced this horrible incident.

The young lad said that this man, Mr Birch his name was, had resored his faith in everyone.

Never read so much rubbish. Get someone to locate her assets, obtain an execution order from the Legal Execution Department and they will then seize her assets. (Legal Execution is the official title and has nothing to do with death sentences) Her property will then be put up for auction, you will receive repayment of the debt from the proceeds of the auction and she will get whatver is left. They will only seize and auction what they feel would be sufficient to bring in enough funds to pay the debt. Assuming she has any assets.

As to whether enforcing the judgement may shorten shorten your life, these kinds of cases are so so common that if that were the case there would be thousands and thousands of people being murdered each year for these types of cases. Rubbish, unless she is an extremely vindictive woman.

One of my colleagues recently gave me a book and CD called "The Ordination" which she got from Wat Dhammakaya. It's quite a handy little guide to ordination, although there is some mention of "guardian deities" and "angels."

I noticed it was published by a group called "The Writers and Thinkers for World Peace, Moral Development thru Education Foundation" so I took a look at their website at http://www.bdvision.net/html/eng_version.html .

The site features some questions with answers supposedly from a Buddhist perspective. One of the questions is "What will be the result of giving up drinking but still going to pubs?" and you really have to read the whole answer to believe it.

It points out that with regard to students, "Going to the pubs usually causes them to have sexual relations with prostitutes working there."

Part of the answer is a story related by the Buddha's disciple Ananda about a previous life in which he had "immoral sexual relations with many women." To cut a long story short, Ananda gets reborn mutiple times as a good looking male monkey, and female monkeys get jealous and bite his pecker off (must have been Thai monkeys). Then he gets reborn as a good looking male donkey who doesn't get much work done because of all the attention from female donkeys (it's the females' fault, of course), so his owner castrates him.

Finally, someone - it isn't clear who - says, "According to Lord Buddha's teachings, if persons who did wrong like me but never made merit by giving alms to Phra Pajjeka Buddha, they would have to be born as gays or lesbians or prostitutes about 500 lives later. When the penalty became dilute, they would be born as women who had unfaithful husbands so many lives. And then 500 lives more, they became the women who had happy family as general people we've seen. Finally, they could return to be men. But if male persons still behave unfaithful sexual relation or go to pubs or go wenching, eventually they have to return to such cycle again."

So there you go, guys - if you go to pubs but don't make merit you'll get your dick bitten off by angry monkeys and come back as a gay, a lesbian or a hooker for 500 lives!

Why do people feel it is necessary to impose their own personal life style, or beliefs, on others? I see it all the time with religious groups, and those that abhor the so called "sex tourism" trade. Why not just ignore what goes on between consenting adults, and just pay attention to their own life. Isn't it everyone's right to live their own life and follow their own beliefs? I know that you can't always do that in Myanmar, North Korea, parts of China and certain countries in the Middle East, but certainly in so called "free" Thailand an adult should be allowed to follow his or her life style in peace without listening to others make slanderous accusations, or say you are somehow a bad person for not following their personal beliefs.

Are you saying the Dutch system and paper trail works a bit better than a similar Thai law that requires foreigners to register their presence within 24 hours of arriving at each new location to the local police as well as the one that requires citizens to register their truthful residence in a blue book? I would have thought these would be practically infallible in tracking people down.

That interpretation of Thai Immigration Law is correct, but like all laws in place worldwide are open to abuse !!! For example their is a large number of overstays in Thailand, normally they don't comply with any immigration laws and if they have to deal with authorities at local level then it is done in a way that is acceptable in Thai / Asian culture.

What I'm simply saying is it is very easy to stay in Thailand undetected, I personally am a legal immigrant but I do have friends in country who are LONG-TERM (fact) overstay, and I'm not talking a couple of months, so detection like anywhere and anything else has it's limits ..........

its extremely easy to remain here undetected, protected even if one has the right contacts and the necessary fee

in all the years I have come using my European passport I have never filled out the address section , and ignore the income, job one's..only been questioned about it a few time's.

As for registering- nobody I know does this either with their embassy, nor thai authority's.

Some have been here nearly 30 year's.
