Spent one day/night there a few months back and loved the place. Wasn't long enough, needed another couple of days at least. Recommend a trip up the river at dusk, just as all the temples are beginning to light up. Stayed at a hotel on the river with a stunning view of one of these temples opposite. Much better than Chiang Mai in my opinion and only a three hour drive from Pattaya. I'll definitely pay another (longer) visit sometime. Reading up on its history beforehand, made it more interesting for me.

I believe that the mixed race Labour councillor who urged people to cut the throats of people on the right and the Manchester airport Mulsim brothers who broke the nose of an armed female officer have been out on bail for many months now. Whereas Lucy Connolly, jailed (within days of the offence) for three years for a nasty tweet (which she quickly deleted), was refused bail and denied a short home visit because her daughter was having problems understanding why her mom couldn't be there with her. Last time , mine was rejected because I'd spent one night in a hotel in Ayutthaya and didn't change my TM30 when I returned, which I've been informed many times is unnecessary.
