Not visa or extension related. Moved to here.

You can get covid 19 insurance needed for entry to the country up to the age of 99. See: https://www.tipinsure.com/CovidRegional/product_detail Most insurance companies will issue medical insurance up to the age of 75. Why do you need the insurance. It is only needed if applying for a Non-OA visa or extending the entry of one.

O visa for marriage

There is no insurance required for the non-o visa application. You only need covid 19 insurance for a entry to the country if entering with a tourist visa or visa exempt. -
Best visa for long stay in Thailand
ubonjoe replied to ThaIrish Sean's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
You can apply for extension based upon being the parent of a Thai. You have to be the legal father of your child by way of marriage or legitimization of your parenthood. You will need 400k baht in a Thai bank on the day you apply or proof of 40k baht income. -
You could do both on the same day. You can do it yourself since the motorbike was a suggestion. Are you sure they want you to do a 90 day report while on covid 19 extensions. Many office don't require them
-
Apparently you applied for a 60 day covid 19 extension that requires approval at the division level of immigration which in your case is Division 3 in Bangkok.

Any bank that accepts swift transfers can do it. Do you have a existing accent at a bank. They should be able to accept the International Direct Deposits sent by swift in baht sent by US treasury department. This Is the form that needs to be signed by the bank then sent the SSA office in Manila. https://www.ssa.gov/forms/ssa-1199-op107.pdf You can also set up a direct deposit account at Bangkok Bank that is transferred by ACH to their branch in New York.

Are you going back to this page on the site. https://extranet.immigration.go.th/fn90online/online/tm47/TM47Action.do?cmd=acceptTerm And then clicking the check status... button. Then are selecting one these 2 options. After enter the info you will a green banner at the bottom of the page that has this at the end of it. Then click the magnifying glass under view and see this at the bottom of the page. Then when you click next appointment you will get a new browser page. When moving the mouse pointer to near the top of the page should will see this. You can click the disk to save it or print that brings up the print popup for your printer. I have always chose to download it so I can open it later and print it.

If you have non-o visa from a embassy or after applying for a non-o visa at immigration you can apply for a extension of stay during the last 30 days of the 90 stay both will give give you. 2. It the insurance provided the required coverage it may be accepted. For covid 19 it must cover asymptomatic treatment after a positive test result. 3. No return or onward ticket will be needed it you have a non-o visa. For the visa exempt entry that will be for 45 days at this time and you will need a ticket out of the country within 45 days to show the airline.

Word to the Wise - Check your Visa!
ubonjoe replied to georgesch's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
January 1st of 2016. That is also the day that the 15 day entry rule ended and 30 day entries were allowed at border crossings. -
Your permit to stay in the country that ends in November is not relevant at this time. That is only the last day you can stay in the country. What is important is your visas expiration date in October that is one year from the day it was issued. You have to do a entry prior to that day to get a new one year permit to stay.

Messed up My Non-O Retirement Yet Again
ubonjoe replied to atpeace's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
As I wrote in my post the 2 months before his application is not the problem. He failed to meet the money in the bank requirements after he applied for his last extension. That is why they will not do another extension for him. These is are the financial requirement as per the amendment to the immigration order that went into effect on March 1st of 2019. -
A retirement visa does not exist. Only Non-OA visa comes close to that. The OA visa allows unlimited one year permit to stays when entering the country for one year from the day it issued. It requires the medical insurance coverage for a one year, a criminal background check and medical insurance. You can apply for single entry non-o visa that will allow one 90 day permit to stay when entering the country for being 50 or over. It only requires medical insurance valid for the 90 day entry it allows. The then during the last 30 days of the 90 day permit to stay you can apply for a one year extension based upon retirement. You can also enter visa exempt or with a tourist visa and then apply for 90 day non-o visa entry at immigration with no medical insurance required. You need the covid 19 insurance for any entry valid for the length of stay you get when enter the country.

The 2 visa exempt entries per calendar year at land border crossing order went into effect long before big Joke was in charge of immigration. -

No need for another topic about the news article posted. This topic -
I assume you are asking about doing a report of staying longer than 90 consecutive days in the country. You can do it online if you are within 15 days up to the report date you can do it online. There is no restriction on doing it prior to applying for 12 months extension of stay (visas are not extended). In person you only need your passport and a completed TM47 form.

You would not have to change your visa basis to one based upon marriage. You would select this on the certificate of entry application. https://coethailand.mfa.go.th/ You should be able to do that and not need the 40/400k baht medical insurance. You would though need the $100,000 covid 19 insurance valid for the length of stay you will get when entering the country.
