The moment one person gets their loose shoe-lace snagged in a travelator there is going to be a media frenzy !!!...
Is the airport also banning crocs and flip-flops on the escalators???
To protect themselves they should perhaps have 'appropriate footwear' signs up...
A bit of common sense might work.

The Minister stated that the Digital Ministry has tried numerous times to work with Facebook on removing and taking action against scammers using its platform but claimed the company had not taken any meaningful action.
Chaiwat said there have been over 200,000 victims of fraud on Facebook from various ads, fake marketplace scams, and other fraud. This totalled over ten billion baht in financial damages to users affected. Chaiwat said complaints against users being scammed on Facebook to police were regular and that as Facebook was not taking action on their end, according to him, Thailand planned to seek a court order to legally shutter the service, joining countries like China and North Korea.
This is not the first time Thailand has threatened to ban Facebook, as a similar threat took place in May of 2017 by the then Military Junta led by Prayut Chan-O’-Cha. That threat was over website links providing incorrect “misinformation” according to the government that Thailand demanded to be removed.

The Spanish lady clearly has some "mental" issues, a pity but impossible to resolve....unless you play to them? The next time she comes around, say to her calmly you are going to put a curse on her....she will stop immediately.
A row of seven Cactuses at the fence line, with some hats and brooms leaning on them, a few glass eyes attached. (All Spanish warnings!)

Buy an air breathable cover for the mattress and for the pillows, then once every couple of months wash them with bio powder etc.
It is a very common issue in humid countries.
-
Quit possibly just the drain pipe is blocked, check to see any water etc coming out.

Hi there, I did drink a lot be beer and never really took care of my diet in my younger years. Now I'm 80 years old, reduced my weight by 20 kg's and still walk 90 minutes daily. Over the last 5 years I've developed chronic acid reflux. I'm very careful what I eat and reduced my beer intake to a few every day. I've been to several hospitals and many doctors but I've never improved. I take Omeprazole 20mg daily with no success. Any suggestion of any other treatment or OTC medicine. Thanks.
I've been through this, Omeprazole at 20mg is a low dose, I eventually was on 40mg twice daily, Lansoprazole is the next step, then Esomeprazole.
In addition it is important to stop eating at least 3-4 hours before sleeping, also to elevate the bed head end by abut 6 inches.
An additional great pill for night time use is Famotidine 40mg at night.
All this is suggestions, and there are no real surprises here, just standard progressive drug use.
This is the advice from a NHS Gastroenterology Surgeon over the past 5 years to date.
Of course, there are many home made remedies, Ie Apple Vinegar etc, but bad GERD Acid Reflux is usually caused by a Hiatus Hernia and that can only be fixed by Proton Pump Inhibitors etc or surgery.

As Sheryl mentioned cleaning ears with cotton can easily cause irritation. This might cause some swelling, enough to block the eustacian tube, which is the middle ear drain.
Stop cleaning with cotton completely and use an over the counter ear drops.

Why don't they just say they do not like foreigners!
They could find petty reasons to deport us!
Oh sorry, they are already doing that!

For the Schengen Area (comprising the vast majority of EU countries, plus others) there is a limit of 90 days in any 180. The simplest way to look at this: if you went out to the Schengen Area on 1 January 2023, you would be able to stay there until the end of March. You would then need to stay out of Schengen for another 90 days, until late June.
However this is just for visiting, if you want to retire to say Spain, you can apply for a residence permit and providing you meet the financials and other rules you most likely will be issued a residence permit.

Check out Sihanouk(ville) in Cambodia.
A Chinese invasion/tsunami started a crime wave and when they left in 2019 they left behind devastation. Near to 1,000 buildings unfinished.
Watch out Thailand...you've picked the wrong "tourists" in the Chinese and Russians.
Yes, they ruined Sihanoukville and Cambodia itself!

Many UK banks allow an account to continue for non residents, but due to regulatory factors they have stopped new members, non resident from applying for new accounts.

However it probably means you need a UK address and theoretically you should be a UK resident.....although it does not say that on that page if you dig down I don't think they will open one for you if you say you are not.
Whatever you state, they will see are using internet from Thailand or a VPN, in either case they will effect a "background" check.

Sorry but UK (and most EU) money laundering regulations and legal / regulatory rules state that to open an account, you must be a UK resident or EU and supply proof of address, ie an acceptable bill, and then a "background" check is effected.
I assume you are not on a UK voters list or registered for council taxes, you will find it impossible.
Like many suggest you should get an offshore bank account with say Hsbc, Lloyds, Skipton International etc.
I'm sure some may disagree with what I have said, good luck.
