  1. if you liked that and are the kind of rider who just goes-i recommend the phrao- wiang pa pao trip.

out on 1001 i think past meechok plaza/mae jo to phrao. lunch there and keep going to wiang pap pao and come back home on 118.

beautiful scenery and great roads for your scooter.

  2. yes the whole fruit is not only cheaper but better-cleaner fresher too.

if you go the little road near the american embassy into tala muang mai there is plenty for less.

the same goes for soy milk. buy it fresh from one of the many stands -i do it every nite-ask for may wan -unsweetened-,better cheaper ,less garbage.

bring a glass jar and refrigerate.my guess is that it is 50 % of the store price.

  3. I always laugh at post like these. . .

, they will rush over to help me and leave the cheep charlie waiting for another day. I already asked them if they want to help on a project next year During Songkran a days drive away and everyone said they would be there and I know they will be

you make them work on songkran an then you'r proud of it on top

that's like real slave driver mentality to me.sorry.

  4. i would just go out with a picture of the car to the next mechanic show it to him and tell him it it won't start ,pretty easy with some sign language and he will come over on the moped and start working.well, mine does anyway.give it a try.

they do this here, this is thailand.

  5. there are actually a number of stores that will have saltwater stuff.

the best albeit not the cheapest is certainly shogun in katiem market, behind lotus,

but just one row over is w ocean ,last time i was there she was trying to sell a 5000 l tank/ 1/2 inch glass! for bt 20 000.

there are two 2 smaller stores outside big c on the way to san sai. good luck.

  6. i actually don't tip at all but instead when i walk around every minute or so i grab a handful of 20's mixed in with an occasional 100 or 500 and just toss it over my left shoulder.unless of course there are some really deserving prolos right in front of me then i let if go ahead of myself

  7. you'll find them at the night bazaar for sure and also at the sports store or robinson in kad sun keaw i believe

my thai wife loves them when we go swimming after overcoming a bit of shyness

and realizing that t shirt and jeans are not really comfy ocean wear

  8. on the eastern side of suriwongse rd between cm gate and the small local market is a warehouse where they sell it in big bags....
