He was acting suspiciously M'Lord............ was a line often used by police in the 50s when they wanted to detain you for no reason at all--or they had a tip off and didn't want to reveal that fact. It went out of fashion after a big case defended by Clifford Mortimer (the father of john Mortimer--who wrote Rumble of the Bailey) When the police were asked to demonstrate to the court what acting suspiciously actually looked like. There were hoots of laughter as the police stumbled around the court room turning their collars up, and walking up and down while trying to look backwards. After that being stopped because you looked Suss sort of went out of fashion in the UK.

Its been a some years since I have filled one of these in--My wife (in her 60s) has been to Oz about 4 times in the past. Have to return for about 10 days- Daughters wedding. There are several Agents on the internet , some are sponsored By the Oz Embassy. They are giving the impression that you can get an internet visa within 15-30 days , there is no mention of an interview or having to do an eye Bio-metric . Has anyone had experience of late with getting Oz Visa. Or any agents recommended.? Thanks in advance--for any suggestions.....
