So while having a good laugh at that Jingthing----will you take a bet -- ?? I will bet that Ice Cream Joe will mention something about his achievements while he is eulogizing Carter----how about something like a 3 months sabbatical from ASEAN for whoever loses . Let us all know.................

President Jimmy Carter dies at age 100 at an "interesting" dark time in U.S. history. I think its only "Dark" for certain people who can not accept reality -- other people may have viewed the last 4 years as the "Dark time in US history" a period -with the abandonment of people who would rather try to hang onto the outside of an aircraft taking off then leaving their fate in the hands the Afghanistan mujaheddin a dark time for the Americans who watched jails being emptied, while over 10 million un-vetted people headed to their neighborhoods, Watched why they were not only free to cross the their boarder, but many were assisted in flying in from countries we normally class as hostile. Yer I think there are a lot more people optimistic about the days to come. Edit.--- Ice Cream Joe is going to do the eulogy---- I would bet London to Brick--that Joe can not just stand there and just talk about how good a person was. He is just to much of a narcissist to do - the world will be watching so he just will have to tell them how good and what a great job he did. He will fit it in--- Promise

Your right Stevenl--he is in a much weaker position then most on here seem to think---but no one wants another 18 year Afghanistan stand off--- but when you try to discuss it , for some people it comes down to the Trump thing--- it seems they just can not reason properly-- the thought of that he might find a solution that is acceptable to both , it's just a pill to bitter to swallow. Their guy gave the whole country away---surrendered not only Billions in the latest weaponry--but the lives of people who believed that America would help them out--if it all went west. Against that will it be so hard to get a better agreement then ice cream Joe managed.

Because you’re a fan of Red Dwarf, Every time I see you posting, reminds me of a Kiwi friend of mine who was a Film goof buff---he would always write to IMDB etc. about how this guy had the watch on his left hand but was on his right when he walked back in the room---ete etc .. He was Jewish so he thought Space balls was hilarious because Mel Brooks (also Jewish) replaces the words---"May the force be with” you to “May the Schwartz be with you” –Schwartz is (was) Jewish for the “N” word—of course now google have soften it down to explain it just means a very Dark skinned or black person. He made up a list for a TV movie magazine once with 15 words that Writers/Directors had added in just to F-*K –with the public I guess---they wouldn’t print it. Anyway, I saw it- & Red Dwarf was one, with Listers constant- Smeging hell--Smeg this and Smeg that, about every third sentence….smeg is an abbreviation for smegma—doctors especially just use Smeg .
