Cardinal (2017-2020) Crime/Mystery Acorn (BBC etc) are rerunning Cardinal (English language ) all 4 season 6 episode a season---- made in Canada An adaptation of Giles Blunt's award-winning mystery novel "Forty Words for Sorrow", It really is good Drama 7.8 ---some seasons over 8 IMDB But very Dark. No series is the same crime---but there are connections so best to start at Season 1 PB has it all still from the beginning

Yer of course---even Prince Phillip (before he became a Royal) and 4 of his shipmates,were arrested for it in the 40s-- In red light district of Kings Cross Oz, near where their Greek warship was docked. But in Oz they call it indecent exposure---sounds a lot worse---so of course it was all expunged from the records , but not from the notes of one of Australia's top crime reporters---who then as a young cub reporter was sent along every morning to see if there was anything of interest in the early court sessions.... Not making excuses for him --but its fact that most Asian countries do not have enough public toilets or public rubbish bins. The guy in Pattaya had no excuses , he could have just run into a bar and the price of a soft drink could have used the toilet. I don't know Singapore enough to know the area that he was in, but a jail sentence seems a little harsh, he was at least doing it down a drain--unlike our Chinese Tourist , who just squat down and Key by the side of the road.

Thanks Will27-- I watched the whole series--- thought it was good after a slow start---I can see the comparison with slow Horses --- guy gets to set up an office in the toilet basement--with a couple of police rejects ---and a box of cold case files .
