It was there that Kwan administered an injection containing a toxic substance, believed to be iodomethane. Immediately after the injection, O’Hara experienced severe pain, and subsequently developed necrotizing fasciitis, a life-threatening flesh-eating disease. He required multiple surgeries and spent several weeks in intensive care. This documentary unravels the extreme lengths that Kwan went to obliterate anyone who may prevent him from what he thought was rightfully his – his mother's inheritance. The Crown Prosecution Service, local residents, press and toxicologists unpick Kwan’s audacious plans that saw him sentenced to 31years and 5 months for attempted murder.
