yes but there is a time delay before these vaccines take effect and offer protection I made a point several weeks ago about the vaccination centers being super spreader events - lets suppose you attend one of these centers and get AZ and at the same time get infected - to me that is just the same as being unvaccinated because the vaccine you just got at the same time as you got infected offers zero protection for at least 4 weeks and that protection from one shot is very limited until you have the 2nd shot then a further period of time to reach full protection - in effect you may as well have been unvaccinated - that makes this article total nonsense

I really don't know what sinovac would qualify for - pity it was not used in the US and the UK for a limited time then we would see some actual data - China seems reluctant to produce their findings which I am sure they have.

AZ and Pfizer seem to have different profiles over time (again watch Dr John Campbell video from 2 days ago), Pfizer seems to act much faster than AZ and then AZ catches up over time Dr John Campbell looks at various studies from mainly US and UK and goes through their findings in a way I/we can understand - his videos are very good for that purpose

it is not arguing for or against various vaccines but it explains very well the options going forward - the conclusion seems to be - better to have been infected with covid and recovered or vaccinated and infected and recovered than to get a booster 3rd dose for maximum protection going forward

there was an earlier drive to not give AZ to people under 60 - that is not the same thing - it means that people of all ages got sinovac The article is poorly written and is missing a lot of relevent data seemingly on purpose which is no surprise also you are referring to farangs only who are a very small porportion of those vaccinated in Thailand - maybe you can share how many over 60 Thais got sinovac

my take from this is that the people that died when to a crowded mass spreader vaccination site got one dose of vaccine and also got infected and died It takes more than 2 weeks for any vaccine to start working so in effect these people were technically unvaccinated

if actaul rules are being broken then yes - fine them not clear to me what rules are being broken since there are market stalls right along that footpath - from the video it looks to me like people sitting alone on the footpath were arrested - for what exactly lets not encourage this sort of police abuse

how deaths in Thailand are recorded is a very grey area in the west every death must be recorded and attended by a medical professional with a COD recorded on DC - in Thailand that is not the case - a common misconception made by some posters on these forums - the recorded and published deaths from covid reported in these daily reports are from hospitals only, so deaths from covid are as accurate as detected cases - not very accurate and likely very undereported

anyone that thinks this ### did this because he cares about farang needs their head looking into I 100% believe it was a condition of getting vaccine donations from the US and UK, I can remember a sudden change of focus on farangs and vaccine around the same time as several donations were announced in the press - sory but that was no coincidence some accused me of talking ### at the time stressing that diplomats had stated in public there were no such conditions, they may have said that in public. I just got my first Pfizer jab today with another one in 4 weeks - thanks UK and US for making this possible.
