  1. they are experts at this sort of thing, this seems to be common in Chang Mai, they didn't get away with it on this occasion because this "dumbo" got the police involved and they sided with him, you can certainly do things to protect yourself somewhat but at the end of the day they can write what they want on the final bill
  2. 30k baht for 6 bottles of beer - are they having a laugh, were they 10lt bottles 1st of April is approaching - maybe a dry run
  3. this effort is for inbound cruises not outbound, try and book a cruise from Thailand and you will come up with nothing - why is that ?
  4. I think the cause is pretty obvious - idiot speeding RIP
  5. I don't believe the spiked drinks story They were out partying she took something and fell ill, he dumped her at a hospital left and continued with his night out, also took something returned to hotel and died (nobody around to save him) Lesson - don't take drugs bought off the street in a foreign country from strangers, in fact don't take drugs period. Tragic RIP
  6. what's the chance you were speeding RIP
  7. this is like losing a betting docket and trying to claim a winner, you bought nothing of value except the paper it was written on, should have bought gold as least he'd have had something physical that had actual value
  8. yeah people get really desperate when they run out of money, I have been "living" here for over 2 decades still not old enough for UK state pension, I have income and savings, I have seen this type of person many times (helped a few) it always ends the same way - desperate and broke, I always say the same thing - go home, no country gives handouts like the UK, not been a recipient myself but it exists
  9. how many more of these scum are we going to see before Thailand gets tough, what was his motive, my guess would be he has run out of money to support a 60 day stay and resorting to theft to get some cash
  10. lock this idiot up, total waster
  11. when desperate people do stupid things, if he couldn't afford to live here he would have been better off returning home, now he will spend the rest of his days in a Thai jail, what an idiot
  12. another drunk drugged up nutjob, lock him up for 6 months then deport and blacklist him for life
  13. fine and deport them all then blacklist
  14. surely the victims can id these scumbags, wasn't it reported they met through attending some weed shop, also one of them looks to be quite tall 6"8 and of african/middle eastern origins - can't many fitting that description around pattaya - oh that's right there one locked up in a police holding cell lol
  15. no mention of recovering the 2 million baht and where did the money come from - was it earned inside Thailand from bar operations
  16. Thailand a stellar example of conservation
  17. the baht does the opposite to any normal way of thinking - so why is that First we had the Cambodia conflict (wich is still active) the baht strengthed - wtf is up with that ? Public debt is through the roof exports are sinking fast tourism is down rice exports down 26% crime is increasing at an exponential rate drugs problem conflict healthcare scams the buffalo is sick along with every member vv etc etc etc what happens the baht strenthens ?
  18. who knew they withdrew the cash, someone in their inner circle, not hard to figure out, also check if he has insurance that would turn 2 million stolen into 4 million, something stinks here, hope the police get to the bottom of it
