  1. Data center demand for hard disk drives (HDDs) has surged due to the AI boom, causing major supply shortages and price increases, with top manufacturers Seagate and Western Digital reporting their manufacturing capacity is nearly fully booked for 2026. Both Seagate and Western Digital assemble hard disk drives exclusively in Thailand. They are the major contributors of 24% "jump" in exports.
  2. Imagine an average American guy who’s about 6 inches taller and 100 pounds heavier than a typical Burmese guy, and he’s holding a knife. He’s fighting four smaller built Burmese men and actually winning, and it looks like he might stab one of them. If the only way to stop him is for someone to hit him once on the head with a metal pole, and that hit ends up killing him, would that still count as self-defense?
  3. I agree that the U.S. must thoroughly scrutinize everyone entering the country through proper background checks. However, this is often easier said than done. Even travelers from first-world countries with visa-free access to the U.S. are will soon be required to submit their last five years of social media history, precisely because strong privacy laws in those countries make traditional background checks nearly impossible. Regardless of these difficulties, if even one terrorist is prevented from entering the U.S., the effort is fully justified.
  4. Burmese refugees are not freely moving around the region — they are assigned to designated refugee camps in Thailand where they live for most of their lives under the supervision of international organizations. Because they are in these controlled, long-term camps and cannot legally leave to work elsewhere (including scam centers), their identities, backgrounds, and daily circumstances are continuously documented. When their refugee applications are eventually approved, the U.S. already has extensive information about them gathered over many years. These individuals are not unknown walk-ins; they are captive refugees living in monitored environments, making it entirely feasible for the U.S. to verify their identities and conduct thorough background checks before granting resettlement.

  7. Many countries are ditching the passport stamps and Thailand is going in that direction. So, we have to find a way to adapt to the changing world. If the entry/exit stamps are only available from Thai immigration in Thai document, a professional translation service can provide a certified translation which fulfills the requirements of the English speaking tax authority in question, enabling it to be used in formal procedures.
  8. Tax payer can request the attached travel record document with entry/exit stamps from Thai immigration. This Travel Record is accepted by Thailand Tax office to prove the Resident status for the Tax ID Number application, for Tax Residence Certificate and other tax purposes.

  11. There are many refugee camps inside Thailand housing the large population of Myanmar nationals feeling the ongoing civil war. They were given housing and food by the UN hopefully until their country become peaceful again. Unfortunately, peace never come to Myanmar and many are still living in those camps for generations.
