Life for a cat is very dangerous for a cat. I have a cat and I have decided to keep him indoors only. Due to the large number of stray dogs on every street. Plus the poisonous snakes common in the gardens . And to top it off are the large lizards and a boa constrictor that I have seen many times that lives just in the empty lot just 50 yards from my house.

This is no joke. Life in a caring American home is the best thing for those cats. Please leave them there.

Drama queen comes to mind. Bring your cats. They will be fine.

  2. My present concern is that the potential to get infected is real and the consequences of that.

Even at best, home quarantine for 14 days for the three of us isn't going to work out well, without thinking about hospital or quarantine station.

And while we lived in that bubble for most of last year, and never thought we could get it, now people in the next soi have been infected.

  3. I'm looking for advice on how to get the wife (Thai) and daughter (mixed but 13) vaccinated. I've seen a number of places where people are queuing up for inoculation but I'm not aware of the process, and neither is the wife. She's self-employed and none of her friends have had any shots as yet. But as the virus seems to be getting closer and closer in the neighborhood, vaccination would be a good idea.

Neither of us would be keen on her standing in line for hours with no guarantee of success at Bang Sue or where-ever.

Has any body gone through the process with little headaches successfully?

I found the Owl Market to be the best experience, but it is likely still closed.  I didn't like the disgusting animal stuff at Chatuchak.  Also, some greedy, pushy vendors, as well as some hoping you will break something so they can extort you.  I saw these cool plates, with a nice divider for chips and salsa and the sign said 169..I thought it was for a box of four or five plates..nope 169 for 1..seen the same type ceramics in CM selling for 10-20 each.  There is always <deleted> beer in bins of....water....at the Train Market, and don't get me started on Farce Box, which I believe was recently put out if its misery, without anyone noticing.  Anyplace with a history of herds of Chinese, blocking sidewalks, changing diapers, etc., is likely off my list.

Owl Market has been open for months.

Wow.  That is a lot of people missing.

Very sad they cannot make progress on these cases families must be frustrated.

The males I would guess gang or drug related.

The females who knows maybe a serial killer or trafficing?

Hope they make some headway on this very disturbing story.

Well now they have your expert opinion, I'm sure they'll be able to wrap things up in no time.
