  1. really ?

Take a look at this from the Thai Met office .  If you care to scroll down to p5 you will see that the North had the lowest average in 2015 ( the latest complete records).  Whilst in that year it was 180.8 below seasonal normal it still puts it as the lowest rainfall region in Thailand.

Maybe it is just a case of those that live there thinks the sun always shines in Hua Hin ?

Everything I 'stated' is happening or has happened so where am I being delusional?  Be specific and, as always, neatness counts.

It is only happening in your eyes as others have pointed out.  Therefore you are delusional.  How specific can I get.  Get over it and face up to reality as Pattaya is not going to change anytime soon just because in your mind you wish it to.

  3. If you were a subscriber to ilikehd then you will have seen their notice to transfer your account to HDprime.tv

HDprime have had some issues but it now appears mostly resolved and I find it much more reliable, far less interruptions and buffering than ilikehd, although I use it for UK TV only as is my want.  so give it a try www.hdprime.tv.

Last week we rode our bicycles the full length of beach rd, fine sunny afternoon, it was so quiet you would have thought it was 6 am in the morning, this applied right across the route we traveled from huay yai. I've done this ride countless times in the last 5/6 years, never seen it quieter.. Maybe get the car checked it might be leaking fumes?

And the carbon monoxide fumes could be affecting his eyesight and  activity within the cranium perhaps. But there again this forum is full of delusional people who st ate something is or is not happening when in fact it is only what they wish to happen or not happen as the case may be.

A selection process dear to the Junta's heart.

And no doubt she has "satisfied" the selection committee totally.

Is there nothing in Thailand where HISO Thais do not corrupt a fair and transparent process ?

  6. The beach may look better but the water is still heavily polluted.  So all the luxury apartments and hotels that are popping up all along that part of the coast , apart from complimentary fruit and toiletries etc should also provide  a health warning and a complimentary stomach pump.

    Stick to the swimming pools

  7. Well that was a lucky find wasn't it ? Without a tip - off ?

More likely these two arms of the state sponsored drug importation and distribution services actually had received a tip off that their drugs stash was going to be identified so hence they concocted a story about this lucky find !!!

Wonder where the other backpacks which they have not disclosed as finding are now  then ?

But don't forget this is Thailand and whilst Thai Monks may not bless the ground during certain periods or on certain days, they are still Thais mostly clowning around in saffron robes, 90% of whom are hiding from someone or something.  Rest assured there is no such nonsense when accepting money,  they will bless money received any day of the week or year and the bigger the offering the better the blessing.  Unfortunately this hypocritical way of life, and not doing things on certain days (apart from taking money),  has filtered down and become transformed as a superstition.

The labour department see it differently, yearly contracts are seen as a way round giving full benefits and are treated in law as one continuous contract. I know an employer who got on the wrong end of this and had a nasty shock when someone left.

Totally correct and whats more the Thai labour Department do not distinguish between Thai of foreign labour so you should contact them asap

  10. Just should cater for thrill seekers. Want the ultimate in risk ? drive on the roads, take a boat to Koh Larn or for the ultimate thrill, cross any Thai road at a pedestrian crossing with your eyes closed.

Yep Thailand the Cultural hub of safety exempt experiences. Yes folks could be  your last trip of a lifetime, literally.

  11. What reason did they state for your termination and what is the notice period in your contract of employment ? As you have worked for between 3 and 6 years Thai Labour Law states that you are entitled to severance pay of 180 days minimum. but if you say they have only paid you 50% of your contracted salary then have you complained to the Labour Department previously  regarding failure to receive correct remuneration based upon contractual conditions ?

  12. This is absolutely wonderful news if it is also true for Thailand.  I fully expect therefore that the 18 million Thais who are currently living in the poverty trap will be absolutely astounded and energised by this piece of news. They will now be so motivated I anticipate that they are falling over themselves to work for some Thai Elite or military owned company for 50% of the legal minimum in order for them in their own way contribute to this opportunity to support the wealthy to become richer by increasing stock values..

Folks get off the roads now the rush to the Junta/Elite controlled and/or influenced enterprises will start sometime soon.
