  1. "An arrest warrant has been taken out for a Rohingya man on the strength of an intelligence report from the new Security Problems Integral Centre."

No mention of evidence? So what we have is an arrest warrant based on probably a MILITARY intelligence report issued from probably a MILITARY organization against a person of an ethincity that has been consistently abused by Thai authorities. I suspect this arrest falls under martial law that is not subjected to the norms of the Thailand judicial system.

Regardless of whether this person an insurgency operarive or not, it seems the military is sending the message that it will pursue and arrest insurgency leaders. This would be an interesting policy when allegedly the military is trying to promote peace talks with the insurgency with resolution planned before the end of 2015.

Of course no mention of evidence. Why should there be ? This TIT and hence all evidence is planted later

  2. And no doubt in line with previous modus operandi any boat engines will be removed, towed out to sea by the Thai Navy and cut loose to their fate. Hope the world's press monitor this action, if it actually happens, and publicize the current regimes complete disregard to human rights or personnel dignity, unless of course they have any money in which case a "donation" should secure their freedom in the short term.

  3. Good for him and I expect you will see his new club start to climb up the table as his old one will start to go down theirs after this coming weekends results, as they could well be 12th on Monday

there are no games in the premier league this weekend so I very much doubt it.

wish him luck, he seams like a nice guy but was sadly out of his depth at United.

I meant the next weekend results but as you are such a smart arse you must be wearing the same rose tinted glasses as Van Gaal. Moyes out of his depth at Man U ? maybe but at a fraction of the cost that LVG as brought the club into - what is it 178 million and still no defence and he can only gain a mucky win against the clubs in the bottom half ?

Not much to choose from either of them I suspect and when Man U again have no European football next season, LVG is kicked out, let's see how the share price is affected.

  4. I know I am going out on a limb here, but am pretty sure that the suicide rate for

the police generals that live in mansions and have flocks of mia nois, is quite low..

But they do not have the stress of beating money out of people.

No but they have the stress of ensuring all their wide ranging scams are still "profitable" and don't forget they now have the added challenges of deterring the muscling in on their activities by the General and his military thugs, so that will increase stress levels.

What the story was really saying has not anything to do with stress it was just a hidden message to look after their men better in other ways. In other words they should make sure that their subordinates retain more of their money from the RTP criminal activities as the Generals men may make them a better offer ?

  6. There is only one reason and 1 reason only the crackpot government and the so called elite are pushing for this and that is corruption. They now full well that foreign control companies have an ethics policy that prohibits and deters any kind of corruption.

We all know that high level Thais, the so called elite together with the armed forces and RTP are some of the most corrupt organisations and individuals in the world so they can not have farang controlled companies stopping extortion, tea money and bribery can they. That is what the general and his gun toting friends have been brought up with and wish to see continue.

  7. Favorite pet word for the General is " Hub".

I wonder if his comprehension and understanding of even a three lettered word such us hub is commensurate with that of the position of Prime Minister ?

Clearly, along with his other gun toting lackeys, a total short sighted soul with no understanding of what or how to create any such hub in Thailand other than the hub of stupidity and ignorance an ministerial level. And the world laughs on at him.

  8. Kiddy fiddlers do not deserve to remain a focus of the news media. There should also be a big warning label on all his records that are still available for sale and may be downloaded from Amazon warning them that "purchase royalties will go towards supporting this freaks appeal against his sentence for abusing children"

  9. Strange responses by foreigners that think they kniw what Thai people want.

Corruption is not taking perks of the job or paying off a cop to save you picking up your license at the station.

That is corrupion that benefits all. Corruption he refers to is that which harms the country as a whole.

Thai people WANT corruption no 1.

As for getting off with a crime - if your child did something wrong that could ruin his/her life, would you act legally or do sonething to save their life. No point criticising if you would adhere to corrupt activities.

If you are Thai then it is a perfect illustration of the failings of the education system. If you are not Thai then you must be a troll.

Most educated people know the importance of "Engaging brain first before opening mouth"

Always a good philosophy I thought
